When you take into consideration of all the above, it’s actually a miracle the rookies even get that number.

Just a reminder, Freakin’ GIANNIS’ current contract is only worth half of THAT.

A Mahomes-sized contract would’ve probably been achievable in the next 5 years, disregarding the China debacle. But now it’s probably more realistic to expect that in 7. Whatever the case, I’m betting it will happen before the end of the decade. Unless some team goes all hail mary and hand out a John Wall contract.

Yeah I think with losing Javale and Dwight they're losing really powerful big men, who are quite a bit more dynamic compared to someone like Gasol. Let's see who else they bring in. I'm still really bummed they didn't keep Rondo. FFS.

You didn't lose Javale, you shipped him out despite being cheap because he is dead weight lmao. You got Harrell and Gasol to complement AD depending on the matchup (and he will probably play the 5 again when it matters).
