That was a great game! Good end to end play~! Maxi is my favourite liverpool player. You guys just need another formidable striker to partner Suarez up front. Shame about Torres leaving. Those two would've been perfect for you guys going into the new season. =/

I can understand why Hughes was so paranoid on the touchline but it wasn't like he had any intention of dealing with the situation. 3 nil down and he was just staring. He didn't change formation or anything. He just let it be. Quite an embarassing display by Fulham at home. Could've been worse tbh. xDD!

If Liverpool fans didn't have enough to be pissed off about, what with their record being overhauled, one of their club legends has had to join Man U in order to win his first championship medal (Unless Michael Owen failed to play 10 league matches this season)

I watched three games today; PoolxSpurs, WiganxHam and FulhamxB'ham. Feckin great stuff. Vaart's cracking goal was the shiiiiit! Beating Birmingham in the last game of the season at home should be a walk in the park. Spurs to win the Europa League next season!?

West Ham are relegated. Good. Feckin' about time as well. I hope Wigan and Blackburn join them.

I had so much fun laying into West Ham fans at work this morning. Losing 3-2 to Wigan summed up their whole season. They looked like they might get away with it and then screwed it all up.

It was hard to watch Europa League final. A weak match, for both teams.
Though it was clear the superiority of Porto, especially after the goal.

So there we have it... Blackpool,West Ham and Birmingham are relegated. I feel sorry for Birmingham... after winning the cup and still getting relegated. Blackpool should have stayed up too, I liked them.

Yesterday was such a good day for football; Survival Sunday was amazing; I was working at Aston Villa in one their restaurants and we had screens everywhere showing the different matches from the teams that could get relegated. When Spurs scored, you should've heard the roar and excitement from the Villa fans, as if they just found out they'd won the league or something . And at full time, they were highi-fiving each other in the restaurant was hilarious!

Such a close finish for B'ham, Wolves and Blackpool, it was so close until the final couple of minutes...

That match was so good, I worked in the Heineken green suite and got to see most of the game and especially Messi's goal. Marcel Desailly and Les Ferdinand were in my area and I served them both

I still can't believe how much Manchester got stepped on. They might as well have not been there at all lol. Their supposed best centerer in the world (valencia) was reduced to a defender who played horribly and the only way he could stop barca's players was with fouls. Manchester did not win with Cristiano Ronaldo, how the hell would they win now lol. After seeing the uncharacteristically defensive game of Real Madrid (they basically admitted they did not have a sliver of a chance in hell of winning with their regular game as barcelona's equal) and the results of Manchester United actually trying to play as Barca's equal there really is nothing left but to conclude Barca really is a step ahead of any of the current teams around. Obviously its not like Barca is invariably unbeatable but they are without a doubt the best team in the world by quite a bit.

Carrick is so shit. I hate him. We played exactly the same as in the '09 final. Keep the pressure on the ball and attack fast for the first ten minutes and then let barcelona do the rest for the remaining 80 minutes. Seriously, fergie's tactics in this game were crap...I wouldn't be suprised if he didn't even have any considering the way they played. Play high up the pitch..is that it? Nonsense.

Barcelona definitely deserved to win the game. After Rooney's goal, I thought we were going to press hard again and get a goal but what did they do instead!? Kick the ball in the air back to the barca players. Berba should've been on the bench. Not owen. I would NEVER purchase an ex-liverpool player. Stupid mistake by the manager imho.

Anyway, I hope the rumours are not true about modric coming to utd. hahaha~ I have mixed feelings about this de gea goalkeeper. Neuer would've been perfect for us.

It'll be interesting to see what fergie does this time in the transfer market. He fails when it comes to replacing central midfielders. I would like to see Sneijder in Utd colours but I doubt that will happen...he's the only midfielder that plays like scholes.

If we don't buy at least 4 very very good players this summer then Utd are going to have a run like Arsenal now. Where they don't win s**t for the next 4 seasons.

Barcelona are only exciting if you love keep away football. Personally I prefer end to end battles.

On contrary, I'm talking about football, not about results. If you love football, you love this Barcelona.

Barcelona plays football, what I call football. They gather pragmatism and art. Discipline, good ball control, passing efficiency, audacity and, of course, individual talents. Dribbling, a skill which is seen much less nowadays, is common in Barcelona. You don't see Barcelona kicking the ball from the defense to attack, they create their opportunities to score.
Like Di Stefano said "Barca team worship the ball".

Of course, I prefer end to end matches. It is more exciting, without a doubt. But, at least, I want a good match to watch, not only decent ones (to not say boring ones). It isn't Barcelona's fault if the level of its opponent's football decresead.

The great teams light the passion in football even as a losers (examples: Holland in 1974 and Brazil in 1982). The way they played is what made football so loved around the world. And that is what makes Barcelona loved around the world right now.
