Hey that's nothing, a friend of mine from the same agency worked at the Barcelona team's after party at the National Museum in London, and he recorded this:

Barcelona are only exciting if you love keep away football. Personally I prefer end to end battles.
To be fair, the only reason barcelona matches aren't end to end is because not a single team can hold a candle to them for the most part.... Heck, other teams literally can't take the ball away from barcelona for the most part. Barcelona plays a superior football, its that simple.

Damn it, it was posted on my friend's FB account; I don't think it's from youtube so I don't know how that works. It's basically a video of Puyol drunk and just silly.

Wow. This place has been quiet for far too long. =(

So all the gossip, hype and excitement at present has obviously been coming from all the activity in the summer transfer market. The majority of which is just the usual gossip and written football fantasies that many find amusing to read. Some interesting deals have already been sealed many others have yet to be finalised or revealed.

Some random info/points:

Blackpool have started a new era without Adams. Harewood has decided to teach himself chinese. Ashley Young finds a new home in Manchester. Cannavaro retires at 37. Pardew goes all Frenchie while Wenger continues to look dumb-founded and lost. Dalglish outlines the importance of being British. :derp Bayern are pissed at City over Boateng fee. Bruce brings in the scraps from Utd. Swansea wants to rob Barcelona of the new "Rossi" to be ..while Barcelona themselves have their eyes set on luring G. Rossi from Villareal.

Clichy has already gone to City while the future of Fabregas and Nasri are still in the grey. It'll be interesting to see what the hell Wenger will actually do if they all leave. Surely, he must act now before they get humiliated in the coming season and getting the sack afterwards. Utd's captures have been alright. I was suprised with Young coming in tbh. I didn't want him to come but oh well. He should be a great addition to the squad. As much as I believe De Gea will eventually become a very, very good goalkeeper...I'm devastated that we didn't hijack Bayern's offer for Neuer. Those kind of keepers are very rare and only come once a decade or so. Shame that he didn't want to leave the country but some players prefer that. I hope De Gea doesn't turn out to be another flop. =/ I would like to see Sneijder (from Intermilan) come to Utd but it looks like Utd are keen on Nasri for some reason. :neutral

About R. Madrid - £27 million for Coentrao. Like wtf!? :vin

Chelski have brought in another ex porto boss that could potentially end up becoming a great manager one day. I definitely think Chelsea will play more attacking and attractive football next season. Whether or not they actually succeed in obtaining their long awaited European glory is another thing. Who knows how more millions and managers it'll take for them to reach that goal. Will City beat Chelski to it!?

There are also quite a number of talented, up and coming players possibly making a big switch this summer...

- Will Pastore leave the Rosanero!?
- Are Spurs going to keep hold of Modric!?
- Do you think Alexis Sanchez is destined for the Nou Camp!?
- Are R. Madrid waiting for the right moment to strike in the transfer market?
- Would you like to see Aguero playing for Juventus next season?
- Which European team(s) do you think will suprise the fans (and even the world) the most next year?
- Does Monaco FC have any chance in Ligue 2? :lmao
- What are the chances of Vidal finally parting ways with Bayer Leverkusen?
- Which transfer deals are you happy with and which ones do you hate/dislike the most!?

and finally...

- who would you like to see next season playing for your football club!? :)

Modric is going. It'll just be a case of how much. Although now Essien has been ruled out for 6 months, it may be more than Chelsea were hoping to shell out.

I thought this thread would be more popular...

In Cup America, Argentina was eliminated at home having the best player of the world! But Uruguai really has a great team, was the best in the game and that Muslera would be a pain to anyone...

Brazil played well but was incompetent and had a draw, later war pathetic and lost ALL THE PENALTS! And the brasilian media says Neymar is the new Pelé...
Its confirmed. Brazil won't have stadiums nor a team available for 2014 world cup!

Come on, the whole match sucked. I saw them after I knew the results because I was at the theater, but I'm glad I picked that over watching the game.

It was cold, poor and even if Messi played well (And He's getting kinda cute, too) the rest of the team was much disorientated. I've to admit that Uruguay was strong nevertheless.

I've seen bits and pieces of Copa Americas, and I'm not really surprised Uruguay has look as strong. They were pretty damn impressive in the WC last year...way more impressive than Argentina was (can't blame Maradona for everything)

Oh, and congrats to Japan for winning the Women's World Cup. I think the US and Japan were two strongest teams in the tournament, and the match didn't disappoint. Horrible way to lose with PKs, but we missed a ton of chances and our Center Backs apparently prefer passing it to each other instead of clearing it properly :s But oh well, if there was a team to lose to, that was the team to lose to.

Marta didn't win the best player award of world cup, that surprised me! I guess the japanese deseverd, but even though USA defeated Brasil in this competition i have to say they had the most beautifull babies! XD

About Argentina... I only was a bit sad Tevez was the one who lose the pk, i really like the way that bastard play!

Hahaha
why? I thought he was way more popular than Messi in Argentina! I saw lots of articles that you guys see Messi as a foreigner, and Tevez was the idol... Could it be he played at a club rival of yours?

I don't idol anyone, actually. And nothing, so I don't have a Club neither.

I hate him just because the way He speaks. He plays great, that's for sure, but I still don't like him.

Why didn't i ever post here ? :oh
Soccer is my favourite sports, being Futebol Clube do Porto my team.

I read more and less each last post in this thread, and one comment took my attention. And it was the fact that "Fabio Coentrão" being bought by £27 million. I don't really know if that was the real price, cuz there were a bunch of other agreements, but i don't really think it was a bad move by Real Madrid. Coentrão is a very good player, and if you asked me before which player i most wanted to leave Benfica *Porto rival :p* it would be him definitely. He is definitely a very good player and i can see who starting being very important at RM pretty soon.

And now i just saw a news, the sources is a Brazilian site, and though i hope is true, it will most likely turn being fake :bored
They say that Porto is going to try to buy Ganso, and if that ends being the case it would be awesome.
Porto until now got 15 millions from the sell of André Villas Boas, new coach of Chelsea but that's it.
There are a lot of players on Porto that are wanted, but i don't think that the main players like Hulk, Falcão or Joao Moutinho will leave, at least i think. I wish this turned to be true, but i don't really think so. Porto already spent more than 30 millions with new very promising players and i don't really know what kinda deal Porto is trying to do, if they are even trying :p, but a lot of millions would be spent either way.
But now i can't stop to imagining having Ganso in Porto :wtf

We have already very good players and if we stay with them, i really think that we have a chance of doing a very good performance at "Champions League" :amuse

I don't think Porto will have the money to buy Ganso! Santos is being really hard-headed about selling him and Neymar.... They already refused a big proposal of Real Madri for Neymar....

But if he goes, it will be after the mundials in dezember... Here in Brasil people really want to see Santos and Neymar versus Barcelona and Messi....

As far as i know Ganso had proposals from Milan and Inter...
Still, I'm not one of his fans, he never plays a good game when it matters, whether it's a derby or a final game he's always hiding in the pitch. Neymar is the complete opposite!

On other news, Ronaldinho Gaucho is getting back on shape, top scorer of Brasileirão and making awesome games! :XD \o/
Flamengo is playing right now btw, so i'm back to the tv hahhahaha

Yeah sadly i think you are right. Porto already got 2 players from Santos : Danilo and Alex Sandro.
As you are Brazilian and you seem to enjoy soccer, what do you think about them?

And Porto is going to face Barcelona in the end of August for the "Supertaça Europeia 2011" and though i know that Barça is better than us, actually Barça is better than any other team in the world by ..... a lot, i still have at least the hope that we won't be crushed without showing our talent.

And based on what i have seen i think that sooner or later Neymar is going to come to RM.

And i think that the negotiation between Porto and Santos, had Corinthians in the middle. I think that if Ganso is sold to a Brazilian team the max price is only 30 millions of euros and if it is sold to the exterior it is 50 million euros. So some kinda of deal between Porto and Corinthians is being talked on the news, but i don't really think this is a very "nice" of trying to get a player :oh

Those teams definitely have more financial power than Porto's, but Porto is a team that every year is very consistent. I think that Manchester United is the only one that has more participations in the Champions League than Porto, but i am not sure. If Porto doesn't sell some players like Hulk, Joao Moutinho or Falcão with Ganso this would be one of the strongest teams that Porto ever had. We already have players that are promising starts on the future like Iturbe ... but right now Porto still needs a strong midfield, and a duo composed by Joao Mountinho and Ganso would be a dream .... if Ganso proves to be as good as what we expect :p

Btw why the hell isn't Hulk called to the Brazilian National Team ? :oh
I know you guys have a lot of good players, but Hulk at least deserves a chance. I think he has quality to be at least in the "bank".

Because the coach insist in calling robinho when he is not playing well for ages!

Danilo is awesome man! He can play in the middle or in the right side...
