Rimworld is notorious for never being on sale too, even during the big Steam sales. Think it's only been 10% off starting this year.

Been playing the rerelease of Super Mario 3D World. One of the few Mario games I had not played before. It may not have a standout gameplay feature like Galaxy or Odyssey, but I vastly prefer how the collectibles are handled in it as opposed to the latter game. Odyssey's moons started to feel trivial to me pretty quickly, whereas 3D World keeps the number of stars low enough that the motivation remains tangible. The cat suit is pretty cute too haha.

I have yet to touch Bowser's Fury. I have heard mixed reactions towards it, but I will play it at some point.

We just started 3D World and Bowsers Fury yesterday. We intend to finish it as couch co-op.

3D World has been a lot of fun this far. Fun level ideas and it is very funny throw each other around in the multi-player. I loved Bowser cars in the first castle. We are about the half-way of World 2. It isn't a mind-blowing game experience, but it is Mario. It is very solid, a good play experience and a lot of fun.

Bowser Fury is super good imho. Everything is super cute and Fury Bowser is goddamn badass. I always look forward to his attacks, because it is just so cool. We haven't played much of it yet, so we'll see. I hear it is pretty short.

That is my feeling as well. It is not Super Mario Bros 3 or Yoshi's Island for me, but if the current trend continues, I would have this one ahead of a decent few other Mario games I have played. It is really solid so far.

Glad to hear Bowser's Fury was a hit for you. I love the whole Super Saiyan Mario vs Kaiju Bowser fight idea. It is super cute and badass.

Haven't played any of those. Wasteland 3 probably?

Looking for something new.

Ended up with a strategy card game called splinterlands. Its like a browser based version of pokemon / yugioh / magic the gathering card battles.

Its much more engaging with better gameplay and replay value than I expected. The rules and parameters of each game are randomized. They shift to keep things fresh and unpredictable, which is good.

My record is something like 600 wins with 300 losses. I must be channeling my non existent inner korean that plays games 48 hours a day to enjoy this level of success. Not certain how I'm coming out ahead here, I never played any card games before.

Finished Bowser's Fury yesterday. Liked it a lot. It was funny, cute and very joyful to explore and jump around. It was pretty short (~10 hours), but considering that it comes with a another great full game, I don't think it is bad. It just leaves you for wanting more. It's sort of an fusion of Odyssey and 3D World, and works really well. Only negative I have, is that the co-op mode is a bit boring, all you can do is swipe enemies, and every now and then trigger a secret (kinda like playing as the hat in Odyssey co-op).

Not a mindblowing experience, but another great, solid and memorable addition to Mario games pantheon.

This Xbox spring sale is mildly disappointing. Ended up splurging on DBZ Kakarot which I've always wanted to play, and the Return to Arkham Collection. Never liked City much, but Asylum is one of my all time favorite games.
Thought about getting The Crew 2, still may but with the rumors of Ubisoft+ being integrated into Game Pass I'd hate to buy it just for it to be free with my GPU subscription later this year.
Still. Those 3 games for under 30 is a great deal but I was hoping there'd be more things I'm interested in.

Fuck yes. Thank god Nightdive seem to be ditching EGS and it isn't a Switch exclusive either.

Welp, finally finished the game sekiro. I really liked the game though it's annoying how excruciating boss fights can be in particular. As in, you are enjoying some exploring and lore, you get to a boss fight and you can't advance for god knows how long. There were more than a couple times where I only went back to boss fights simply because there was literally nothing else to do. Anyways, great game...

More portals?

The little clip I saw looked like more of the same - and, considering how much I loved 1 and 2, I reckon that's a pretty good thing

Consider Portal Stories: Mel, then.

Technical issues aside, not too sure why Days Gone got the reviews it did when it came out on PS4. Really enjoying it on PC so far.

Almost done with valkyria chronicles 4.

Its very anime.

Good combat system. Although terribly designed in ways that are guaranteed to fustrate people.
