The Yakuza series is very soap opera-y and that part of Ichabans story very much fits into that style.

To the point post trauma blindness is a very common trope in jp soap operas and Y0 had a whole lot of that.

Didn't read most of the rest because I haven't finished 7 but that line resonated a bit lol.

very fun game. I died ton of time tho. game got couple of flaws, like i found the map confusing at time .

there are couples of bug as expected of a game during release week. nothing big, just small bugs. but might wanna wait a patch or 2 before buying the game

finished the Ascent. very good game, i'm impressed a 12 persons studio did this. the gameplay very fun, you can go for different type of gun and build. that been said the game have insane difficulty spike here and there.

Getting ready to play some games I'm pretty excited about here very soon though. Psychonaughts 2 first.

After that my, and every other CRPG fan's wet dream. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Which arrives out of early access next week.



By all accounts this will be much the same, if even more in depth, as Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Which I loved. So naturally this has been my most anticipated game for a while. For those who don't know. The Pathfinder series is like an even more hardcore D&D/ Baldur's Gate type of party based role playing game. With companions, branching plotlines, romance, the works. With real time with pause or fully turn based gameplay options.

It's not a game for everyone but for people like me that loves RPGs with that tabletop feel combined with epic fantasy story. Kingmaker was a joy. The level of depth in a game like this makes as fun for me to play with as I'm sure it is infuration for people who hate spending 4 hours just trying to figure out what kind of character they want to have at the start. I love that shit and can't wait to spend 45 mins(or more) deciding whether i want to spend that extra ability point on Dex or Int.

On paper (trailer) looks really good, but I don't think that will be this good when it comes out. Maybe something more like instances and quest driven? The trailer gives a lot of open world vibe... If it can replicates 1/3 of GTA5 with those fluffly, colourful things and an online multiplayer, I think the game can be really amazing.

the roaming and style look great, specialy the gliding and all. combat system look meh. how big is the development team? this is giving me biomutant vibes

I've been playing Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous and it's everything I wanted it to be and far more.

Not anywhere near done with my first play through yet but I can already tell this is one of those games I could see myself replaying quite a few times. If I were to say it's like Baldur's Gate but vastly better. I wouldn't be lying. It is THAT good so far.

Again this is a very hardcore CRPG. So if somebody isn't used to the depth it's going to be a lot to learn. But if you want depth, the game does have pretty good tool tips for learning the mechanics. The build variety and depth is insane once you do learn. There are like 25 classes, 5 versions of each so you can make any kind of character you want to. Mythic classes which give you god powers. Skills are actually useful. Fun and interesting companions, well written quests. No more bullshit timegating like in Kingmaker. It's just so fun.

Dying Light 2 delayed again... Battlefield 2042 delayed again... Deathloop is out and has lukewarm reviews from what I've seen. Tales of Arise seems to have good reviews though. But I sort of wonder if that's inflated by diehard Tales fans or not. The only one I ever played was Symphonia on the Gamecube.
