I just found a great looking game I'd never heard about up until now Divinity: Dragon Commander
Features that caught my eye were..
So the thing more than anything else that interested me so much about this game was the way it apparently parallels fantasy creatures with political viewpoints. Like the Dwarves, for example, are pure Capitalists. So their factions agenda is always about profit. Similarly the Undead are Fundamentalists, the Elves are Liberals, the Lizards are Libertarians, and the Imps are Futurists. Each has a ambassadors and a princess that tries to win your favor. Getting on their good side gets you assets but they are all trying to one up each other so it's a balancing act.
I can't believe I had never even heard of this!
Features that caught my eye were..
- Strategic turn based world map.
- RTS Battles
- Flying around as a dragon.
- Focus on managing politicized fantasy races.(Elves, Undead, Dwarves, Humans, and Imps)
- Research and Resource management
- Lots of character interaction at your flying base.
- A sense of humor!

I never played much of Heros of Might and Magic but I don't think so. That's turn based with an RTS world map. This is the opposite of that.
More like Rome Total War series with an Overlord style to it but focusing less on unit strategy and more on story, politics, characters, and the ability personally rampage around the battlefield as a giant dragon with a jet pack.
Here's a longer more comprehensive preview of it. If you skip through it and you should pretty much understand what this game is.

So I started the Star Trek video game yesterday and so far the controls are weird and the gameplay seriously lacking. The storyline is kind of shit too. XD However, sometimes the world and backgrounds themselves have really vast and magical moments. A Star Trek video game could be potentially kick ass, so sad they didn't really pull it off.

I have been playing some Saints Row IV and it pretty much has blown away even my most optimistic expectations.
I've never played much of the series (which is going to change from now on) I guess I always thought of it as a GTA clone. Nothing could be further from the truth in the case of Saints Row IV. It's more like a spoof of Infamous, Mass Effect, The Matrix, Tron, and like a hundred other Sci-Fi movies and videogames The writing is consistently smart and the gameplay is insanely fun (along with being just... insane).
The moment I was flying a spaceship in a Star Fox flight sequence and the song "What is love" started up in the background I knew I'd found a winner.
