what's spinning?

yeah I'd need a lot of endurance. I stuck to walking for fitness because i have really low stamina. Walking is pretty relaxed. When I try to do jogging I couldn't do 2 km straight. I had to stop in between. -_- But I can walk. running is different. that's why I really need to start slow with it.

This be spinning

Spinning is a Swedish word for it I think but anyway.
It's a great way to start working up your stamina. Also, you can jog in a very slow pace, even if you jog just a little faster than you walk, it'll make a great difference.

@truefan - That depends on what body you want to build, for what purpose, and how badly you want it.
i'm working for strength and endurance
also jumping jacks are boring to do, but i'm limited to indoors so thats the only cardio i can do.

if you're working for strength and endurance, then burpees are for you. :thumbs

it doesn't need equipment, and space just for push-ups, and prisoners use it to get buff ohoho.

it's also called the prison work out because of its nature, and you can search it all over the internet, with the different reps where you can be called "stud" :p

I've never enrolled for any gym because it's too expensive for me. And I get bored easily. That's why I always prefer walking or trekking. Besides, I love to be around nature.

It is ideal that you are surrounded by nature when you're trying to burn because there is less pollution, maximum oxygen, and thus maximum burning capacity by the body, or so i'm told. :p

You're correct bb-chan, it's the ideal to be outside, preferably after rain since after rain the air is both cleaner and filled with extra oxygen. It's also much more relaxing for your mind to do a prison work-out and jog outside than in a gym. It has a better effect on your body.

yes it takes a lot of mental power to finish a round as well and not give up. but it really tones your muscles and at the same time it's cardiovascular exercise.

Depends on what type of routine you have, lol.

If your doing a leg work out routine only, then you can do them in the same day. But if you do full body workout's you may not want to do both together. It honestly depends on your preference and what you are trying to achieve in your workout.

As a revenge on my failure with Insanity (thank you heart) I am now running 7kms every day, doing a little interval training on an uphill slope, I practice kickbox twice a week for 1.5 hours each and bodypump twice a week for 1.5 hours each, one day is for regular work-out and the other two are free (only running).

I'm still following the insanity nutrition guide though. ^^

Thats awesome Blai! Glad to see you haven't lost the will and have been making the best of things. I on the other hand have been thrown off with school. I'm on the verge of starting up again with my workout over the next few weeks. Maybe this weekend even. :thumbs

I tried burpees. It was really great. If it is added to a normal training in a gym it's one of the best.:)

No excuse Arrogance! Get going :yelling

Ehehe, yeah, well, I had to "dig" quite deep until I found the will to make the best of it but I think that this routine will show me some decent improvements after a couple of months.

Yes, you really need to spend many time to build a good body and to improve your power and endurance, but it's really great to feel better and to be able to do more than before.;)
Also great method to improve is swimming. It's especially good for those who are living near the sea.:)
