Archived The Hang Out Thread v. 11

[patedecarne]

From all the reviews I've seen so far, The Dark Knight is the best adaptation from HQ until now, even better than the spider man movies;

I couldn't expect less from Nolan, Bale and Ledger, they're really great, and with just the trailer, we saw how dark and scared will be this movie, and from IGN review, this movie is a masterpiece who won't be forget so soon!

[goldb]

really....i definetly want to see this, i saw the trailer and it looks amazing!!!

[LadyHatake]

ahhh, I actually got to see the first ten minutes of Dark Knight last week, on blu-ray no less, and it was AWESOME. <3 It's shot in full 75 meter (since it's made for IMAX showing) so it's neat <3 (and for those who don't know, blu-ray has the highest clarity of any kind of media. It's the ONLY way to see a true 1080p picture, since nothing else is currently broadcast in 1080p, just 480p and 720p.)

[Shiro-kun]

Some are saying that Ledger might posthumously get an oscar for his role as the Joker.
and by looking at the trailers I somewhat agree , i hope the movie lives up to the hype that the trailers brought because it looks sublimely awesome

[baboysai]

How come I didn't see Harlequin in the trailers??

[blai]

I r gonna watch the new Batman movie when it comes out. Simply cus it looks awesome :P

[redcometfm]

For anyone of you who are curious, feel free to pass on Batman: Gotham Knight. What a gimmick. It had like one good story and that was it.

[blai]

Taken from a convo on ventrilo when we were playing WoW

Blai: "Ak! I'm dying!"
Glassbowl: "Anyone watch Bleach?"
Locien: "Ye, I do, tis awesome!"
Blai: "Hey, I'm dying! Someone help!"
Glassbowl: "What episode you up to?"
Locien: "I'm a little behind on episodes..."
Blai: "FFS! I need help! Ak!"
...
Locien: "I think Blai said he needed help...?"
...
Blai: "...I hate you both..."

[baboysai]

ahahahaha that cracked me up Blai! It just goes to prove that Bleach is more important than any of you.

[blai]

That was a hilarious evening but still it sucked since i kept on dying

Constantine is on tv now, pretty good tbh : p Ive always liked that movie 'cus of his attitude

[goldb]

never seen, no one's really convinced me enough to see it....

[blai]

Well if you're bored and it's a movie on the television you dont have to be convinced to be arsed to sit down and judge it if it's good or not during the first 30mins : p

[baboysai]

Lovely. I just got a haircut.

[LadyHatake]

:O How short is it?

I got mine trimmed last week, but it was just enough to freshen up the ends, so you can't really see the difference.

[hatsuharupeace]

I feel your pain Babi-tan. Just got one as well.

[blai]

The "post your picture thred" is over there --> hurry

[igotthegoods]

are haircuts really that painful, hatsu? i think i forget......it's been about 5-6 months since i've had my hair cut. it started out that i wanted to grow my hair out again, but then it turned into me being too busy and not able to get into my hairdresser when i'm not busy. ugh, it's a vicious cycle

and blai is right, we need pictures

[blai]

I need a new necklace ;/

[baboysai]

:O How short is it?

Really short, LH. You should see it. Hayluvet.

I feel your pain Babi-tan. Just got one as well.

But it wasn't painful at all! It was so cool and liberating. LOL. I walked in the salon and asked for a haircut, and the people there looked at me like coz I had it really long, and I showed them a pic of what I wanted and they said "Are you sure???"

the attendants kept asking "don't you wanna keep your hair? coz if not, we'll keep it" LOL

[blai]

Hahaha but as long as you're happy with it (and i hope you are) it's cool. : ))

I'm currently at a mates place playing some SSBB because we're bored and i wtfpwn with mr game and watch 'tis awesome!
