Rabb: I did relatively well, considering I work almost full-time now. Not as well as previous semesters, but meh, I had a lot of harder classes this time around too.

man this christmas is gon be sweet, i dun have to give any gifts since everybody knows im broke from my trip, haha, im just gon get drunk, tell my relatives to fuck off and get even drunker.

@rabb, navy, army, whatever, it sucks, no alcohol, no money (i dunno, maybe they pay you good though), whats the point?

i just meant we are all drinkers in the navy. (and since there are always shipmates around, you can get some free drinks. if you're in uniform, you can use the civis and get lots of free drinks XD)

i've been busy with real life for a bit. the second half of 2008 kinda sucked so i'm hoping 2009 will be better.

speaking of working out, I'll have to do that again, since I had a month of indulgence with food... to make up for the lack of sleep that I was experiencing

Times are really bad, even around here. We had a major retrenchment exercise recently and hundreds were axed. It was a low depressing period at work, no one was even working, everyone becomes fearful and wonders are they the one being axed next. I hope things become better soon in the new year. I'm dying to go for a good holiday.

The retrenchment exercise ended a while back! I still have my job!!! *phew*...but its an experience that i don't want to go through again if possible. I feel sorry for those who were affected, since it'll affect even their families. Urgh...real life is just tough sometimes.

Anyway, enough of this!

is the economy that bad where you live too? that sounds awful. recessions suck but at least the gas prices are going down here in the states.

anyways, im in the navy now. my school is a 15 month long program, which compresses 2 years of uni into 6 of those months >.< i'm learning how to operate a nuclear reactor for a carrier.

that reminds me, you guys have any suggestions as for where i should try and get stationed? my three ideas are San Diego - its beautiful there 24/7/365, but the cost of living is really high. then there is Japan... 'nuf said... third is the George Bush. if i go on her, i'll be touring europe instead. she's a brand new class of carrier; new electromagnetic launching system is replacing the steam catapults, she is built so we can quickly launch and or recover 4 jets at a time instead of 2, and it takes much less time to get the next set of jets ready.

and i have one friend in each of these places >.<
