nah and it went to shit, it started fucking up so i did everything i could think of, everything my friend who works with comp could think of everything my dad whos a comp tech could think of. i re-installed vista and then it worked for like 10 minutes, so i turned the fucker in for repair and th clerk goes "are you sure you did everything right when you re-installed vista?" but he meant "you fucked up you fucking n00b and now you're gonna waste my time so i cant play wow!".
so it was sent to a shop this was like 2 weeks ago and today i get a text that it has to be sent to a "special shop" whatever the fuck that is. fucking vista.

yeah, it amazes me though, i mean, windows is crap when it comes to security, there's +500,000 viruses aimed towards it and alot of other harmful codes but it still wont cooperate perfectly with symantec live update.
makes me wonder why people still buy MS comps when Mac doesn't have any viruses at all...
i ofcourse didnt find out about this until after i bought my lappertopper and noone told me since people seem to think a bit of trouble is normal.

i live with my laptop just until i can buy a macbook pro since it pwns all other laptops.

Windows 7 is still in Beta afaik, Pirate. One of the guys I know is running it right now, though he hasn't said how it's going. But, as you can see in my sig, as soon as this PoS PC I'm using dies, I'm getting a MacBook<3 Probably the 15" one.

btw Windows 7 is the amalgamation of XP and Vista. Or so the users said...

a friend of mine has a 17" lappertopper, i think its to big. if i would want a better and bigger comp than a 15" id go for a desktop one >_>

except, some professions need the big screen laptops. In architecture, the students and professionals like the big screen better because of the heavy graphics we use with it. And laptops are convenient for impromptu client presentations.

If, however, you just need the laptop to write some stuff on the fly, that small 12G notebook is ok as long as it can do word processes and browse the net, i guess?

Laptop does pretty well to watch fansubs as well, but they make too much noise. >.<
