Re: The Deadly sin associated to each prince

Tsubeppa in the latest chapter described Benjamin as arrogant ( = Pride, something we already knew, through Tserriednich), Camilla as greedy ( = Greed) and Zhang Lei as consumed by luxury and excess ( = Gluttony? Could also be greed). [/spoier] Together with Tyson (whose sin is Envy), that makes it four princes for whom we know the associated sin. Not sure if this has any relevance/importance or just trivia but I will try to guess what the others will be based on what we know so far:


Pride: Benjamin, Tserriednich
Greed: Camilla
Lust: Sale-Sale
Envy: Tyson
Gluttony: Zhang Lei, Kacho
Wrath: Tsubeppa
Sloth: Momoze, Lazurus


I can't classify the others as of now.

From what we know I would say Tserriednich isn't associated to only one. And perhaps some princes are associated to the seven virtues. Halkenburg is definitely a good person, Fugetsu seems nice as well, along with Momoze(so far).

What do you think would be their Nen categories, using Hisoka's analysis?

Enhancer: Sale-Sale, Fugetsu, Tyson.
Transmuter: Tyson, Kacho.
Manipulator: Tubeppa.
Conjurer:Momoze, Marayam.
Emitter: Luzurus.
Specialist: Halkenburg.

Sorry for not updating the thread atm, i will have some more time on my hands after saturday and edit it according to the information we have by then.

Also: I am not sure whether salesale will die first.
It would, by now, be too obvious.
I could see that, possibly, benjamin and tserriednich will be the first one to seriously fight and one of them will die (probably ben).-

I don't think they necessarily have a favorite but my guess would be Benjamin for Unma, he is her first child and seems to behave in general. Tserriednich though, I doubt he cares about anything but the throne. Camilla for Duazul, she acts like a spoiled kid and asked to see her last chapter. Obviously Marayam for Sevanchi, and for Seiko, I don't know, the chances that she has no favorite are higher here.

Yeah I agree with your choices. For Camilla to have that personality Duazul must of and still spoil her rotton. Do you think any of there mothers will play a major role? Other than Oito of course. Hmm I think it be more interesting if the Beast doesn't fit with the host category. Which Princes do you think will try to learn Nen. Benjamin already knows Nen and Tserriednich is already learning it. Camilla is the only top Prince to not know about it yet. But judging by her personality it can go both ways. Zhang seems more interested in the Nen Beast themselves. Tubeppa seems smart so I think she will try and learn it. Not sure about the younger Princes.

I thought it would be interesting to count the number of deaths as the battle goes on.

So far we have 21:

• Woody: Killed by a Nen beast.
  
• 4 unnamed bodyguards: Killed by a Nen beast.
  
• Kurton and 2 unarmed bodyguards: Killed by Sayird(manipulated by Momoze's beast).
  
• 11 of Halkenburg's bodyguards(maybe more but we saw 11 corpses, 15 at best): Killed by a Nen beast(guess).
  
• Sandra: Killed by Vincent.
• Vincent: Suicide.
• Momoze Hui Guo Rou: Suffocated to death.

There is also the giant hideous worm. I would say the jelly fish is Fuugetsu's, while the worm is Kacho's. Kinda reflects her personality too.

Btw did anybody mention that the queens are named after numbers from latin languages (i.e. Italian, spanish, french etc) based on their hierarchy order:

I think the worm is Tyson true Nen Beast. Yeah it's on the Hunter X Hunter Wiki.

Well, togashi is definitely going out of his way to build up Tserriednich well more than any other prince. More than that, he has already bee characterized as a nen genius who is less than a day was able to awaken it. Now, that is indeed something very different from him winning this. The other prince that in context has been made out to be important and perhaps would actually make for a good king overall is hankelbur... He seems to already be an important politician though his relationship to tserriendnich suggests he might be far less normal than otherwise implied.

Overall, I wonder if the succession is actually meant to be a bloodbath... The current emperor has made the rules intentionally vague and basically up to the princes. Which means the only important rule is "win the succession war by any means necessary". Without there being any relevant rules to the way itself. Basically... the princes sort it out themselves. Which means basically that the rules are anything any prince decides. So the conflict could end with all of the princes deciding who is the king for instance. But if only one disagrees and decides to kill then rest then that is valid too and he can go ahead and kill everyone anyways.

One thing I am reasonably sure of though is that benjamin will die like a chump. He will confront tserriednich and try to physically overpower him. Which he would have otherwise done easily but tserriednich is a nen user and merely ten is enough to wreck benjamin and his lion crushing hands.

Ah, yeah, I forgot benjamin could use nen. There is still the suggestion that his history with nen is not too long though. And then you have tserriednich, a genius, being legitimately trained in it. It would still be weird that he manages to catch up to his brother in such a short time though. In this case odds are that tserriednich will get to his brother via his hatsu which he could conceivably develop fairly fast given his talent.

His soldiers have Hatsu so he should have one.

Normally there is no way Benjamin would lose to Tserriednich in a direct confrontation, but the beasts's powers are unknown(they can't attack the princes directly, but indirect attacks are possible ) and he could be caught off guard. Right now he is not expecting anyone else to have Nen.

Benjamin wanting to do it himself means a lot here. He knows there are hunter bodyguards, he knows some of the hired boydguards have nen, he probably is, like an enhancer's mindset, very capable himself. Tse just learned nen, he'd need a couple of months to get to a combative degree, unless he's that hax a fast learner.
Tse doesn't seem to be a fighter, a torturer yes, so it will take time to learn how to fight with nen, even if he's a genius.

As I previously mentioned, I'm fairly certain Tsered will develop some kind of tricky ability during this voyage. We have seen cases of normal people who had hatsu, such as Neon and arguably Komugi.

I may even venture a wild prediction that Tserred will be killed, then his ability will become even stronger after his death and will fuse with his nen beast...wrecking havoc on the whole ship...That would be something.

So that makes us three ^^ Personally I just went for the strongest and most menacing prince, because of how ironic it would be...
