I cried at that one too.

Hm, so even when married one wouldn‘t watch a lot of anime eps for the other?
She’s watched some of the ones I consider must-sees for everyone (not just anime fans) and she liked them, but overall anime isn’t where she’s at. There’s a sort unspoken agreement that anime/manga is “my thing”, but if I tell her there’s one she has to watch with me, she would. Basically. We’ve got enough other films and series to watch together, anyway.

But I’m pretty sure at the rate we watch stuff together it would take roughly ten years to get through it all (OP that is). Faster to just let my son get old enough and then binge it with him in one go then. :XD

Somewhat goes the same over here, I'm trying to show her the 'essentials' but sometimes she expresses interest in the subject and asks me "what's new?". That's how we started the anime for Black Clover, Banana Fish and Hataraku Saibou.

So far, she likes all three of them. So far she loves Shounen the most out of everything which I definitely didn't think would be the case (her favorite anime atm being SnS, NnT and SnK).

We're watching One Piece too, but we're watching that for 2 years now and only finished the mini-Laboon arc (ep 62-64) somewhere last year, haven't seen an ep since then. She likes it a lot actually, but the prospect of the amount of episodes and her motivation for it just don't match.

You watch the recent FF movie?
How recent are we talking?
I've seen 2 FF movies...

Any good?

What about Gantz-O yet?
Aye, it wasn't brilliant, but at least I didn't have to turn it off and watch something else, part way through...
I didn't even make half way, not even quarter way, through that trash-metal alchemist film.

I hated Ed's portrayal
I hated Roy Mustang's
I hated Winry's
I hated it all

All of it.

Also Xadyu - fantastic choice of sig - dead Pinocchio really fits my current energy levels

Nope, not seen that - CGI is, as expected, on point.

I may look for it, I do enjoy good CGI, even if I am not a fan of FF

On another note, glad that Ned Stark finally became king

Kingsglaive is a good watch.
Though I need to watch it again to actually remember what the hell happens.

All the food was eaten - all the beer drunk (some of the wine, however, was unopened - but wine is bad anyway, so who cares).

Dunno if anyone was 'overly' impressed, but people did enjoy the spices.

Yeah, now I’m super hungry and there’s nothing proper to cook supper from. Will have to settle for a scone or five.

Clotted cream and jam?
Actually ended up making American pancakes instead. Tried to argue that we're watching a very British show so should be a British snack, but in the end when you have a pregnant woman in the house she gets last call because of cravings and whatnot.
