Warmth? If the world ends and there's no more electricty, etc. Plus, your attitude could change... I don't see why you need to go permanent there.

I‘ve been outside both with and without a beard. The warmth difference is extremely minor, won‘t save you from freezing. The changing my thoughts later is a good argument, but I‘m pretty committed to my opinions, rarely changes. So it‘s only a positive of not having to bother and making life better.

With a full beard? Been outside how long? I'm not really talking about being outside mind you, just without a reliable, consistent source of warmth.

I never let it become scarf-like if that‘s what you meant. But for normal life with shaving, it‘ll never be that big to make a warmth difference. And scarfs exist.

I already do, but it‘s an extra bother, and trimming will never fully remove the beard like shaving with a blade, so it feels quite stingy to touch the face.

I mean, yes. I was talking about a beard as a utilitarian thing, not a fashion choice. I mean, we have body hair for a reason. The point still being that you're talking about a permanent solution.

Considering I gotta keep other parts trimmed/fully waxed, and that I only do that like once/month, I can see what a nightmare a beard would be to me as well @.@

It's a lot of trimming to keep facial hair looking atleast somewhat neat. Especially the moustache.
