Yep, they're good! In stores, they're usually $500AUD or so.... I got them cheaper on eBay!

Got offered an Internship at a cool dive shop/school run by some Japanese people... so I'll probably be heading back there in a few months to live.

Scuba diving is really nice. I got my licence this year although I still didn't got the chance to explore waters so amazing as the ones Queen of muffins did

Well, seeing as I'm only 19, my "job" is basically retail. I've been working retail jobs (fast food, check outs, waitress, ect) since I was 15, usually fulltime to earn money for travelling/Japan.
About a week ago in Bali I decided to go for my Open Waters certificate in diving, which took 3 days. On my last day in Boracay, I met up with a really cool English scuba instructor when I was checking out which company to go diving with, and we got on really well and ended up going diving together at Lobster Rock. After I'd met the owners of the shop, we all hung out on the beach afterwards. When I spoke about not wanting to leave, he and one of the owners offered me an internship there. I'd work for free for a few months helping out in the shop while he trained me in Rescue Diving, Advanced Open Water and finally Dive Master Course, before I would work there as an instructor. Meals and accom included. Pretty tempting, but alas- responsibilties in Aus has caused me to put off doing it till the start of next year. ;A;

How much it cost to live in Boracay for a day? Because from what I see, you're similar to me: going on a trip without any agents, right? Just me <maybe friends>, my plan and vuala?
