American Pie 1-3 were EPIC!

The rest were shit lol the original cast is much better...

Dwight Stiffler was ok.Other Stifflers sucked,the latest Book of Love movie,that was the worst Stiffler ever,he got raped by a muse the whole Stiffler name must be in shame right now.

He probably has no bigger role than what every other incarnation of Alice has had. Depp just happens to be the biggest name on the cast list, so he's their biggest marketing ploy. An ad in Britain might include scenes from Rickman and Fry's characters, since those are household names there.

I just watched "Karate Kid" trailer, and.. man, actually I like that stuff <you know, when I don't think it's "Karate" and stuff, and that it's the son of Will Smith :x> Yeah, thinking without that makes look like film will be cool.

The scene with the fly rocks everywhere <if I recall correctly it was in original movie, yeah?>

And the music.. it sounds like Joe Esposito - You're The Best from the original Karate Kid movie.

Man, if I will don't have any other movie to watch in cinema, I will probably go on this one <heck, I would rather love it to be a "teenagers" movie, because it looks like it's a film for children.. just children> Yeah, I know, it is not, but still I would like if it was an older teenager <or rather: if it wasn't a child> who plays the role of student of Jackie Chan :x

"Karate Teen", eh? Well, at least it wouldn't insult the original by being called by the same name..

And yeah, the fly scene is in the original Karate Kid, but not in any way like that (in the original Miyagi is trying to catch a fly with a pair of chopsticks, not a swatter)... Reference to the first movie or just an insult is up to the viewer to decide, I guess. Personally I'm for the latter.

I don't usually take the liberty to completely disrespect a movie before it is even released, but with pointless remakes like this one, I will. Always.

With the fly scene: I don't remember very well in the original movie <heck, I need to watch it for the 5th time >, but this one made me laugh, so I think for a comedy it's cool <and it's Jackie Chan which perfomrs this, so it's even more hilarious xD>

I don't think it'll compare to his older work, but it'll still have that distinct greatness associated with anything that has his name on it!

Yes. It's really good. Intense with a sustained feeling of paranoia. Leonardo plays his part very well. Worth the money for sure.

Yarr, can't wait until I watch it. I've had great expectations for the movie for a long time, and just haven't gotten myself to watch it before now. But in a few hours it's time!

It's not very Scorsese-like at all, just look at the genre and that'll be obvious.

Still, it's really, really good. The visuals are amazing, the story is mindboggling and well thought out and the acting is actually really good. I've never been a huge DiCaprio-fan but Scorsese tends to draw something out of him that really makes him enjoyable.

Well DiCaprio has been incredible in Blood Diamond and Body of Lies in my opinion. That's when I got my respect back for him as an actor. Sadly I'll have to wait until Monday before seeing Shutter Island. I completely forgot that I had to watch the Olympic Winter Games, and I just can't miss the stuff happening these last three days as a norwegian

Anyways, I just saw The Crazies. It wasn't bad. Wasn't what I was expecting at all, which I suppose is a good thing...but also sort of bad too. I liked it well enough, but...erm, how can I put it without spoiling?

The primary plot device (and some other elements) I think is terribly overused, and it wasn't even used in a unique way either, however, other parts of the story were fresh enough to make it not stale, just not bursting with fruity flavor, you know?

Everything was adequate: acting, action, drama, etc...but it never really got me good and excited and I never really felt an emotional connection to the characters and their fates. I just sort of took it in and gave it a nod for not completely sucking.

Shutter Island, however, is a solid A.

I really do hate that movies get so delayed or don't come at all to Norway sometimes. I was looking forward to The Book of Eli, but it got delayed for months! What's the point of watching it at the big screen then if I can just download it in HD quality? Meh. The Road looks interesting too, I'm considering watching that one too the coming week.

My movie related plans for next week: ''Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen'', ''Slumdog Millionaire'' and ''Ninja Assasin''.

This week my friends and I watched Borat and Brüno. >__> They were both okay, but if you are too homophobic I recommend you stay away from Brüno. But the reactions of real people (non-actors) were hilarious in Brüno, better than Borat's.

Saw Ninja Assassin.I loved the action scenes,the fighting was amazing,the special effects,seeing ninjas on the big screen like that was really fun,blood and guts all over the place,skulls being cut clean off D I liked the action so much I didn't even pay attention to plot,acting or everything else,cause it was ok anyway,nice movie.

The Karate Kid trailer does look good, and Jaden is a very cute little boy...but i still take issue with the fact that Karate is never mentioned. <___< Don't know if I'll see that or wait for cable at this point.

The film im looking foward to the most is kick-ass. I havent read the comic but the film just seems like its going to be amazing.

I also watched a prophet yesterday, and the acting is just astounding. The only negative is probably that the film is to drawn out, but it definitely deserves all the awards its getting.
