Saw Shrek Forever After. Was cute and funny. I had no expectations for it, so I wasn't let down. It was a cookie cutter Shrek movie, I thought, and when one watches Shrek, one expects to see Shrek. That's all there is to it. The alternate universe thing was nicely done, and I thought Rumpelstiltskin was actually a likable villain. I liked him better than the other villains. The Pied Piper was pretty awesome too. He got down with that flute for sure.

Watched From Paris with Love. Stupid movie, nothing interesting. Travolta really disappointed me in this movie.

I thought the plot was cliche and the gags were lame, but if you turn your brain off it was an okay action movie...but it aint no Smokin' Aces.

Guillermo Del Toro is no longer directing "the Hobbit." He still intends to collaborate during the production stage, but twas a sad day for Bilbo. Interestingly, Sam Raimi might just drop everything if given the opportunity to replace Del Toro.

The Expandables - action films ftw in Stallone way! xDXDXDXD I expect a nice booms, fights, gags and killing - that's what this movie will be about, that's want I want to see. Nothing more, nothing less <3 Not to mention that finally Stallone, Willis and Shwarzenegger <how its spelled > are going to be in one movie, one place, one scene <or maybe several, but honestly don't think so>, so.. yeah, action films 80/90s ftw!

I totally dissent... When I saw the first scene, I was afraid it would have been gory, brainless, bloody action move

but as soon as the movie continued, it had a decent story (not an intelligent one but definitely an entertaining on). Furthermore, the fights were cool and the ninja effects were done good too.

I don't consider it as a great movie but it's a fun watch to fill up some your boredom with entertainment

I thought that Ninja Assassin was cheap, trite and god awful. I thought the story would be okay because it was about the guy getting revenge on his clan, and if it would have been just that it would have been okay, but the other characters, aka the chick and guy who worked for...who the hell did they work for? And why were they in the movie at all? That was the stupidest part for me. They are supposed to be searching for these ninja clans or something, but all they did was turn the plot to cheese. As far as the ninja stuff goes, I thought that was a fail too. These ninja were...not at all what I want to see when I'm watching something about ninja. Oooo they sort of melt out of the shadows and they throw shuriken. Okay, that's cool, but these ninja were just...horrible to me.

Okay, so how did they not know that a whole army of people were dropping into their secret mountain village, WITH HUMMERS, out of nowhere and have no advance warning at all.That doesn't even touch the fact that hummers were able to somehow magically get on top a mountain and bust through their gates without making a sound before that.

Also I thought the fight scenes were totally sub par. The guy is supposed to be ultimate, but the fight scenes didn't wow me at all and I thought they looked low budget and poorly choreographed. Also, I hated that it was a typical English speaking American movie. I prefer movies with a little thing I call authenticity. If you are in Japan living in a hidden village on a mountain top, I expect you to speak Japanese, no fail, and if the movie is primarily set in Berlin, I would like to hear the German language at least once.

The funnest part of the movie for myself and my man was us making rape jokes about the female who was supposed to be a ninja but never did anything to appear as such except climb a wall, slowly, wearing shuko.

Hmmm...i don't actually know of any movies that i'm looking forward to that have yet to come out... I don't want anything to do with The Last Airbender and I probably wont pay to see The Karate Kid. The A-Team...I'm thinking is a no also. I wouldn't watch Twilight for free, and erm...yeah.

Wait, I guess I want to see The Expendables, just for grins, and of course I'm looking forward to HP and the Deathly Hallows. OH! I want to see the Sorcerer's Apprentice, but I don't have high expectations for it or anything. I'll check it for $5 though.

I see there's a lot of movies coming out that I haven't heard of yet, but I haven't seen previews, so yeah. Can't say.

You know, I may actually have to see A Team for $5 now that you brought up that point about Neeson. But man! I was very underwhelmed by the new B.A. though.


And LOL yeah the acting was SO terrible...I thought that was a given. Special heart?? Riiiiight.

The Mortal Kombat franchise reboot trailer is up!

It's not for the hard core die hard fans of the franchise, but it's a good take on the title as far as retcons are concerned.

Saw that yesterday! I actually liked the older MK movies (the first one most specifically), so when I saw this I was like, YAY! I hope that the new movie takes the story more seriously than the other films did. And MAN am I happy that it's not going to be about Liu Kang. I never liked him...<___< I think I'm going to miss the Johnny Cage nuttpunch though. T___T

On a side note, I saw The Blind Side. I liked it a lot, but I don't necessarily think that Sandra deserved the Oscar though. Her acting was good and all, but it wasn't extraordinary or anything.
