I'm very disappointed with FUG so far. But in regards to that being said we haven't really seen much from them. Ha jinsung is in the top 100 and said to have killed an entire ha family branch but we haven't really seen anything near his true power. Then we have karaka if I am not mistaken who is said to be a fairly new slayer(hasn't had the title for long)and is also said to have great potential meaning he hasn't reached his peak yet if anything very far from his real potential power.(not at full potential yet and still gives a Zahard princess trouble.) then we have white who was reguarded and said to be a powerful high ranker and slayer but now no where near his prime.(outdated and overrated slayer, used as a plot device for bamm to train on and help develop bamms power and morals.) we haven't seen any other slayers or any of the elders but based on the capabilities and not raw power of jinsung ha compared to the slayers we have seen something tells me that other slayers and elders could be way stronger then what we have been presented with so far from fug. With that being said we are still early in the story and still only a 3rd of the way up the tower. I could see the slayers forming a possible team later in the story, maybe a little more than half way up the tower(floor 66-70) if Leslec steps in and directly orders(maybe even threaten) both karaka and white to join bamms team or maybe follow/assist/help/train bamms team mates. It's a bit out there but with the real introduction of the fug leader it could be possible?

I'm a bit confused about this. Has it been stated that bamm is being groomed to take karakas position? Or is it just that he's being groomed to take away karakas mission/goal(then again isn't the main goal of basically all of fug, slayers included the death of Zahard.) from my point of view karaka is acting out and being childish rather then looking at bamm as a strong and potential ally that could help him/help each other take down the king and achive fugs ultimate goal?
SIU has said that Karaka is the slayer for Jahad, and from all the statements by HwaRyun and Jinsung Ha that Baam is being trained to kill Jahad. So... Baam is basically being groomed to take Karaka's position. This is a tough situation for Karaka, the only way he can survive is to steal the power of an irregular.

What if he steals Rachel's "essence" of an irregular? :gwah

Would that even be possible?

Well they were gonna melt down Baam with the thorn to make him into an ignition weapon, so why not do that to Rachel? Karaka probably didn't know she is an irregular.

I also saw something interesting on Reddit today: Karaka is fighting with fake bodies, controlling them remotely, and he only pours some of his power into them. So likely his real body is a lot stronger than what we are seeing... unless he's like Nagato but I doubt it.

Totally forgot about that! Damn so they could do that to Rachel if they very well please. (hope not but at the same time hope so. She's horrible.) and yeah I was on reddit erlier talking about karaka and him able to spilt himself or his power into other things(fakes/maybe dead people?) So he would have to be way strong than what we've seen using an ability that not only got away from urek but also helped him stand toe to toe with a Zahard princess all the whole doing this in a fake body. Simply amazing if ya ask me.

Remember that liquid that Urek got his hands on from FUG that would allow an administrator to be separated from someone? Most of us assumed it was the counter to Baam in case their experiment with him went wrong.

That may still be the case, but what if it’s for Zahard instead. We know that Zahard has a similar power in him to what Baam has (based on the GoG’s statement), which may be what we saw Zahard show Baam in a recent chapter.

Data Eduan’s comments made me feel that he really cares for the true Zahard (or at least the Data Zahard). I don’t think it’s far fetched to say that the real Eduan feels the same way about Zahard and I also don’t think it’s far fetched to say at least some of the other family heads feel the same way too.

All the talk about the ten heads wanting to oppose Zahard has centered on supplanting him as King, but what if they want to save him from being consumed by the Power inside him. They would form FUG secretly and try to find a way to free their friend from his torment because their direct methods did not work: none of them can oppose him in battle and Zahard no longer listens to reason.

All the talk about actually trying to kill Zahard is a ruse. The ten heads use FUG to keep their families in line (similar to Root from Konoha) and to reduce the spread of Zahard’s corrupted nature.

I think everyone would feel that if Baam went against the grain and tried to save Zahard on his own it’d be pretty cliche... but what if the whole machine for saving Zahard is already there and we can only see pieces of it? This also serves the purpose of saving the Tower, but also while saving their friend. This parallels Hell Joe’s loss of the Red Thryssa quite well actually.

I am not sure the series has even hinted at zahard having the admin like powers within him as bam does. We saw the bit with bam reacting to zahard and immediately attacking but given what we saw to me it is still a bit of a stretch that zahard would specifically have the same thing bam does. IMH the needle was meant for bam and to separate him from the thorn tbh.

As for fug being in it to protect zahard rather than to end his empire... At least based on what we know to me this is well within tinfoil hat level conspiracy theories. We have yet to see the whole of fug however we have seen plenty of people who genuinely want to end zahard. And more importantly, we do have at least enough context to suggest luslec has every motivation to want to destroy zahard. We have very little information of course but as of now there is nothing that suggests luslec could be carrying out a sort of false flag operation. And sure, gustang does seem to have direct ties to fug but that is far from conclusive in regards to fug being zahard's pawns.

Of course, anything could happen in the end.

I base my idea on the GoG’s statement that Baam is struggling with the power within him which was the same as what Zahard did. Given that Baam was talking to that blue... thing, I think it’s possible Zahard has something similar and rather than reject the offer Zahard accepted it. Maybe not in the rice pot but eventually he did. I am pretty sure most of us on this site came to that conclusion.

Regarding Lusec, I would speculate he really is after toppling Zahard and FUG is absolutely against the Zahard empire. My theory is that the only people who know the true purpose of FUG are the 10 family heads. They protect their families from Zahard’s influence by using FUG to quietly eliminate their members who align too closely to him without exposing themselves. This is similar to the Name Hunt station although the Name Hunt Station is in public view and appears to operate in Zahard’s favor...

I agree there isn’t a lot of evidence for this, but I don’t think it’s tin-foil-hat. I think Data Eduan’s feelings for his friend are genuine and I think SIU is trying to paint a picture of what their group was like while they were climbing for a reason. It could be simply that he’s trying to show how far Zahard has fallen or it could be something more. Given SIU’s complexity of story telling I’m betting on the latter.
