What do we know about Kakuzu now?
1. We know that Kakuzu is a medical ninja.
2. We know that Kakuzu controls threads that he keeps on his body.
3. We know that Kakuzu's hands are actually detachable!
4. We know that Kakuzu is also a bounty hunter and has killed many ninja.
Kakuzu being a medical ninja and having detachable hands is what led me to my theory. My theory is that Kakuzu is special because he takes parts of deceased ninja and implants them on/in his own body. I believe that Kakuzu's hands aren't really his and that the changing of the skin color on them isn't his original jutsu.
Earlier in the manga we met Zabuza and Haku. Haku played the role of a cleaner nin (someone who takes bodies away so their secrets can't be stolen). Neji's clan has a symbol on their head so that if they die protecting the head family their secrets can't be stolen. There has been alot of emphasis put on protecting one's jutsu and disposing of bodies. We have never seen anyone that actually wants to steal body parts from others (Orochimaru doesn't count! he wants the entire body!). I think a ninja that steals body parts for his own would make an excellent member of Akatsuki.
What do you all think?
