I went all over the place with pairings for this manga.

But, I think Natsu/Lucy is set in stone. Lisanna lost her grip on Natsu after her long absence and I highly doubt she can get it back.

A powerful young boy should join fairy tail so that wendy can have somebody to love while charlie would be chasing the kid away while keeping happy away at the same time lol

I really don't understand why no one thinks NatsuxErza would be a pretty cute couple as well...

I don't mind however the series will end, I just know I really enjoy both action and love type of aspects of the series.
I hope for NatsuxErza just cause this is very underrated but if Natsu chooses Lucy or anyone else, I will deal with it

I really think Natsu will just end up Oblivious to this stuff . I mean he just isn't the type [he is a emotional kid and he is the protagonist]

I think the one possible is Lisanne x Lucy [They will both get tired of banging their heads against Natsu and end up going lesbian]

i dont really mind who natsu ends up being with most likely lissana since they were childhood friends but it could be anyone of these Lissana/Erza/Lucy/Wendy

I think the cover of this chapter pretty much confirms that it will be a NatsuxLucy pairing. Mashima has been putting the eventual pairings on the cover of chapters for the past few. I dont mind this because, behind Marijane, Lucy is the hottest girl in the Fairy Tail Universe.

I'd love to imagine Natsu with Lucy.. but he's too "shonen hero" to even get it.
I'd rather see Grey and Juvia finally work it out...

And now there's potential for Elfman and Evergreen...

Evergreen and Elfman is a good pair, also Gajeel with Levy, Natsu with Lisanna, Gerard with Elza and Grey with Lluvia.

Yeah, that's still a posibility, but I don't think she cares about him and also there is Lluvia and I think she won't want to confront with such a passionate girl as Lluvia.

I have a hard time someone as dumb and simple as Natsu is going to recopricate any feelings for any girl, he's just to one demensional for that. He's a shounen hero and those types are always asexual or to pure for complex feelings such as love and feelings for girls.

Lucy might hint some feelings towards him but that doesn't mean she'll expect Natsu to return them, unless she pulls a chi chi and tricks him into marrying her.

Actually compared to Goku and Luffy...

Natsu actually seems to really like women... It has been more than hinted at.. and I'm not sure if he loves Lucy, but he actually seems more comfortable around her than any other female... Heck he's already slept in her bed, seen her Naked, knows what her boobs feel like, knows what her butt feels like... They completely skipped first base, and are ready to run it home if you ask me...

Once they kiss, it's game over... even if it's an accident...

I thought it was a running gag that Natsu is oblivious to that sort of stuff. I thought all his reactions to those situations were rather typical of a shounen lead guy especially compared to Grey's. He didn't even blink when Edo-Lucy offered a peak under her towel. I'd have to see him consciously make a move before I'm convinced he's any different.

He seemed pretty close to Lisanna in the past and he risked his life to save Erza. I don't know how to draw the line between nakama and personal feelings. A kiss would be pretty unexpected.

The new OP however pushes again in favor of Lisanna ^^" i know anime isnt to be conciderd canon but it can give a glipse on it.

Also standardizing how Natsu feels *typical shounen * well the best series eventualy couple their main character to a girl. Take DBZ for instance with a entire 2nd generation of characters born in the series.
Who knows FT might go that same route?
