Even though there's less romantic indication between Lucy & Natsu, I really love them both.
Their bond is beautiful and it reminded me of someone close to me in real life.

I mean their relationship isn't perfect. It has lots of flaws but I still choose to focus on the wonder aspect of their evolving relationship (no matter how slow burn it is haha lol).

Natsu is a typical shonen character who is oblivious (or just choose to focus on friends/fights/will/nakama rather than romance lmao) to romance..and other stuff (Goku, Ichigo, etc)..

But yeah... NALU is my ultimate FT OTP and second is JERZA.

I think Lucy cuddling up to Natsu is more suggestive than simply sitting at a table and talking (which they've also done in a cover page). Like Cresent and Jooda have pointed out, the scarf is something that was important to Natsu. We don't have any cases of Natsu lending his scarf to someone else, and so letting Lucy have it is a display of closeness. Even if you don't consider it romantic, I consider scene be more significant than simply sitting and talking.

If we're just talking about pure aesthetics, the rainbow sakura cover is still by far my personal favourite:

Again though, she was cuddling up to an unconscious Natsu. Didn't I say that romance from Lucy's side is a given? It's Natsu who has to suggest any sort of romance, which he has not done so far. Still seems like hard reaching to make the pairing official when again, Natsu has to make some sort of signal that he's interested in Lucy, which he has not done so far.

We don't even know how Lucy got the scarf, it's just an assumption that Natsu gave it to her.

The part with Gray losing his clothes is pretty accurate. I think most of the females from FT have reminded Gray about losing his clothes at least once.

How is Natsu not a pervert when he sexually assaults Lucy all the time? If you touch someone's boobs even when you know they don't like it and have no issue with seeing them be stripped by their opponent, you're definitely a bonafide pervert. At least in Gray's case, the stripping is mostly because of the training he went through with Ur.

The problem with calling Natsu a pervert is that none of his "sexual assaults" are ever sexually motivated. He knows that Lucy doesn't like it when he does these things to her, but his understanding of WHY she doesn't like it doesn't extend past mere annoyance. He view them as just him messing around with Lucy or having a bit of fun; the sexual implication is barely there for him (if even there at all).

Well, that's my only problem of why I would not want to be like Natsu in real life.

Natsu may not make girls uncomfortable around him, but at the same time, you don't want to be that dense either. Which is why I'm fine with Natsu x Lucy because it seems Lucy doesn't mind him being dense about romance. In fact, I think she somehow prefers that.

I prefer Gray's behavior because he's aware when somebody is crushing on him. Some people hate it when he "purposely ignores" Juvia, but I personally don't mind it because it always leaves a slight chance for GrayMi to happen.

Brandish probably treats Natsu better than she does most people, but that's probably because Brandish is growing fond of Lucy. Lucy probably likes Natsu because of how he acts, as opposed to him being a hunk. I would argue that it's repeated actions like this that won Lucy over:

I agree, Natsu's personality is an advantage to Lucy because she can blame him for being the perverted one in the relationship, without Natsu taking any offence to that remark. Since she feels pretty shy towards romance, it's always better for her to blame Natsu, who wouldn't know what he was blamed for.

I guess that's why Natsu x Lucy has such a large fanbase. It seems that people prefer relationships with the guy being more dense than the girl.
