Frankly, I'd rather see Sting and Rogue's relationship explained than either of them getting involved romantically. Sting and Yukino wouldn't be awful, but at the moment I think that if Mashima did put him with somebody it's just as likely he could end up with any other girl he's had some amount of interaction with, or to have him meet someone at the end of the arc that he has yet to interact with, for that matter. I've seen people pairing him with Millianna after she brought Lector back.

The only certain pairing we are going to see is romeo/wendy. How can that not happen? The obvious sole purpose of the timeskip is to make romeo age appropriate for her.

Agree. Before Mashima starts pairing them up with someone, I think we'll need to see more of their development. That's how it went with GajeelxLevy. *sigh* the shipping fandom in FT is sooo much better than Naruto's..... (can't say the same for the FF community, though.)

As much as it would be nice and all for Romeo/Wendy shippers I dont see it as a true reason for the skip. (I know your cheezing...)

Granted, it's only a small snippet but I think the odds are quite high now. Ever since Sting got his character development, I just knew he'd take the Gajeel route with Yukino.

Considering how the aspect of being a celestial spirit mage has several times been made to be heavily connected to Zeref and the dragons (especially through Layla) I think the pairing fits and plays up their importance to the plot even further. Just as Lucy will play an important role for Natsu (and by extension, the dragon slayers) Yukino will do the same for Sting.

The pairing also makes for a fun dynamic with the rest. Lucy, Levy and Yukino are all good friends with each other, but the same can't be said for the boys.

I'm still laughing my guts out at the LaMi moment in this chapter . I can't believe Mashima actually did it !! all this time LaMi was just one of your usual crack pairings that virtually had no proof whatsoever and now it's chances of canon are starting to fly up the goddamn roof!!!

True, tho the moment of Laxus asking to see some for his help in the beginning is a thing to be *relooked at* from a different point of view now. I mean he knew which buttons to push.

up till now in fairy tail anime/manga natsu doesn't give a shit about lisanna...............so i think may be he is n't taking lisanna seriously

Nonsense, the anime greatly covered what the manga covers in some areas about how Lisanna and him spent lot of their childhood together. Also notably that Natsu spent time in the woods with her tagging along, like how they found happy and hatched the egg.

Apart from that the anime covers more on gildartz acting the stand in father for both of them. And his return asking about her expecting them to have paired. But Natsu remorsefully telling him shes dead.

Actually Lisanna was ment to stay dead but Mashima got forced to return her. This made it way more difficult to focus on the relation he has with Lucy and developing that, without incorporating feelings that he might or might not have for her and her feelings for him. After all you get the tear scene in Edolas. Its just a big mess that wont be solved soon.
