You've conveniently skipped over a few things though... like any interaction that would support JeRza.

Their relationship is not a typical one, or the best couple ever. But they're not a crack ship imo - which has a low chance of getting together pr a pairing that doesn't suit.

Crack ship = characters who never interacted in the story.

I don't know where you did read they only spent days together in the tower but in the raw, the exact period of time was never mentioned.

Erza scaped from the tower at age 12 if I remind well. That means they didn't see each other for 7 years, not 15 as you claim out of nowhere.

Of course, conveniently missing the fact that he was being controlled by Ultear.

Well i can bet if Kagura will be near when Erza finds ( if she still be alive :P) out i think that Erza will hug her and thanks her ( maybe without hugging :P)

That just my opinion of course.

I don't believe Erza is quite so shallow as that... I think Erza is more smart in terms of CPR being a life saving technique and not freaking out thinking it's a kiss. That's not within her character to do so.

Fairy Tail is more about friendship and fellowship than romance and I tend to carry on writing about that, but maybe it’s time to improve some romance scenes as well. I think that might be something to look forward to.”

Official Interview with Hiro Mashima that's fairly recent (January 2016). So better start preparing. IMO there is a reason all the 'couples' are lumped together right now. We had Natsu x Lucy's fight, and we are about to see what happens with Jellal and Erza. If he means real romantic scenes in the future, Gray's answer to Juvia is most likely one of them as they haven't gotten their spotlight just yet.

thanks for sharing fam, that's interesting how Hiro looks at it. I'm glad he did it like this, follows the usual shounen route of waiting till the end to make everybody canon, I think Gruvia will be canon first though *duh*

Even though the crack shippers can do the most at times, I like how Hiro goes about bonds and stuff with characters, makes the most unlikely friendships something out of nothing, even between evil guys too (look at the 12s relationships) that's dope to me. Probably why, besides Nalu, that Gajevy is my favorite ... complete opposites

I saw this on tumblr I think? And then a friend brought it up to me last night. I agree with you. There is a reason all the main couples, big 4, whatever you wanna call them are together right now. He's slowly bringing romance into the story. In truth, the only romantic moments we have seen between couples are Jellal/Erza and Zeref/Mavis. We've seen them admit to being in love (however indirectly on Jellal's part) and we've seen them kiss. There have been more than enough hints thrown around with Natsu/Lucy and with Gray/Juvia as well. Such as all the interactions you see between Nalu and Gray promising to give Juvia an answer after the war is over, as well crying into her chest, etc... I think we're about to see Jerza development as well given the current situation, and with the possibility of Mavis taking out Zeref, makes me wonder what may happen to them as well. Anyway pretty exciting stuff I think.

Tbh, the size difference between Gajeel/Levy appeals to me the most. That's why I ship Laxus/Natsu, as well.

You can see the bra straps if you look closely, I swore she had a shirt on when she gave Jellal CPR... we could chalk it up that shirt was wet but that's no fun damn hiro's editor is always cutting out the all good scenes!!!
