It's not a fan made. Hirano is literally quoting Mashima. You're talking about a guy who gave a ship away in a novel.

Translation is legit.

The translation is fan made and there's no official translation to see if it's accurate or not. I'm guessing you're talking about the light novel about Gajevy's kids traveling back in time but I don't think that affected the current timeline or the relationship build up between the two.

Their faces are smashed together. It's a kiss. They hugged a page or two before that and it looked different.

It doesn't have to be like Gajevy. They had CPR for one. Two, Zervis kiss was in silhouette form but it was legit.

We're straying a bit off topic now. Point is, Nalu will probably still happen but Mashima denies drawing a kiss or very romantic scene for them.

This was quoted from a VA that qouted Hiro so he might've been playing around or trolling like he usually does or he could have changed his mind since their talk. Nothing really concrete to say this is a definite.

Also I meant this kiss from 413 days omake.

No one is saying Nalu isn't happening. But Mashima said he's not drawing a kiss/very romantic scenes, at least not right now. Maybe he will change his mind. Who knows.

Never said they were bias... I'm just saying they aren't official and they're translated by the fans which don't always use the correct translation (notice the differences between Crunchy's translations and the Mangastream's and Mangapanda's). Anyways interviews should be taken with a grain of salt especially when it's not even the writer himself speaking on the matter.

Yes there are. Really love the how close and comfortable with they are and how intimate they are with one another such as the hugs scenes

Nope, again Mashima had nothing to do with that "marriage" filler. But he did contribute to Laxus' fight in the anime since he couldn't put it in the manga.

Writers, VAs, and other professionals never use ship names like NaLu, Gruvia, Gajevy, etc. when they are speaking. So this is definitely looking fishy now. Like I said I would take this info with a grain of salt.

I can assure all that tumblr post is 100% accurate in translation because it is a combination of both the Twitter discussion (hence the ship names) and the VA quotes. The first bit of Japanese was a translational summary of what was discussed on the video and Twitter, not the VAs directly using shipnames. The actual translation was done by an individual who is at a fluent level, so you can't pass it off as "just a fan translation."

Thinking about it, I'm starting to care less and less about this lol. Hiro basically just saying he won't be "in-your-face" as much with Nalu than he will with Gruvia and Gajevy (it's hella noticeable anyway). I'll take the subtle stuff we've already been getting anyway:

Just a couple of moments from the Alvarez arc. Forcefeeding us can be great don't get me wrong but there might be a reason why nalu will probably be the last ship canonized... the best is usually saved for last feel me?

It is, I'm dying at the comments I'm seeing on the #nalu hashtag on tumblr lol shippers are crazy. But I believe everything that came out of Aya's mouth so it's whatever. For Gruvia, Gajevy, Jerza one side is KNOWINGLY in love with the other. Want proof?

*Gajevy: Levy. On one of the bonus volume pages she was mentioned to have unrequited love towards Gajeel, which he doesn't reciprocate. I think he sorta knows but isn't really worried about it right now

*Jerza: Erza was about to say "I love you" to Jellal after they beat Zero in the OS arc until fucking Lahar had just performed the biggest cockblock of all animes

Nalu hasn't had any type of signs like that... that's just facts
