Again, my take on crack ships is that it's all around lame to me and some are wild forced so I avoid that life but the good ones, you know like pre-Alvarez arc Zervis & Lyredy, Miraxus are cool. Idek the proper name for this one but peep just how fire and good they look together people love trying pair Rogue with Yukino cause he groped her and Sting with Minerva cause he princess-saved her from her father but nawww, black and black go together way better. Their fight with the Wahl-Bradman might be the start of something special but hope it ain't forced and just eased in there cause I don't want it to take over the combat

I guess you could say that the former crack ships - Rendy (Romeo x Wendy), Stiyu (Sting x Yukino) and...whatever name fits Minerva x Rogue? - can come true now though :P. Still hoping the biggest crack ship Annalogia doesn't come true smh

Well if something happens between Rogue and Minerva or some different characters we can't say " it's out of nowhere " or " it haven't even had proper buildup " But it only applies to the characters from side guilds so I don't count here Miraxus ,RomeoxWendy ( despite last chapter have they interact before ? ) or pairing from different guilds for example ( No offence ) ...
The fact is unlike FT members we don't get these characters see in her daily activities or we don't know how exactly they interact day after day, for example, my crack ship Kagura x Millianna, if this happens, can we say that it has no build up or is out of nowhere ..? I don't think so They knew one another for at least 6 years ( judging that Kagura meet Millianna while she was still teenager :P) so it is a quite some time we just don't get showed they past together ( Anyway Hiro hinted that Millianna Completely falls her head over heels for Kagura )
Same goes for Rogue and Minerva we didn't see how did they interact in one-year time-skip ( this mission couldn't be they first one alone )
Of course, it only applies for the people from the same side guild if I would see (i have seen it somewhere last time :P) Kagura x Jura now that is out of place

And i also hope that Hiro will don't get some forced moments during they fight and focus on that mainly small hint however is welcome

Yeah this is all making sense to me. We don't see how/what they do in their everyday lives since their the side guilds, we did see Rogue and Minerva going on a mission to destroy Avatar though (either that or they were going to a love hotel

) and Millianna and Kagura knew each other for a minute so who knows. The Saber spinoff was a good insight though. And I agree, I don't want a heavy-ship induced battle like Levy's role in Bradman's fight (which was good) but mentioning it/slightly adding it in there I'm all for it when they fight the historias. I think Hiro can finesse this well

I don't know why people are worrying about romance in this Bradman fight, this is Sabertooth, these guys and girls are OG's. Besides, they'll have to try and fit that in while Bradman is ranting and Wahl is laughing, no way that's going to happen. As for ships, while I don't do it much I agree with Yukino and Sting (I'm pretty sure about this) but I'm not sure about Rogue and Minerva...

I agree with @Vici that ships outside the guild don't need build up. They don't get the panel time to build that stuff. It did feel like Romeo got some panels for Romeo x Wendy, but I'm not a massive fan of that ship.

I do like Minerva x Rogue though. I call it Kylie, as in Kylie Minogue, Minouge = Minerva x Rogue.

This is fair. Sting and Minerva do have an appeal but Sting and Yukino, that's already money right there. 485 got it on lock now. And yeah they don't cause one unless they're with a FT member or interacting with them it's no need to focus panels on them if they're not relevant to the story. It is what it is. That's why we have omakes, OVAs, spinoffs for. I'm glad it's like this too though, it's one of those things fans of not popular ships have to sacrifice for the story.

I don't think Irene can handle Ichiya, she needs to get her parfum-game up a bit

So the new chapter has made me a mess, I have officially been shattered by these 2 pages in the newest chapter:

Eileen's remark about him wearing emotions on his sleeve makes me realize that Mavis is probably one of the people who he allows himself to express his feelings to, Natsu is one thing since he wants his brother to kill him but Mavis is different since she's someone outside his family and he still shows emotion for her.

Spoiler: Zeref looks at her one last time

He looks back at her one last time as if trying to decide whether to relieve her of her pain or not, and Mavis crying in that panel feels like a silent plea of help, ironically there's a scene like this in Rave Master with Elie:

He turns his back on her, since even if he loves her he knows what he has to do, so he has to kill his emotions in this part, it's somewhat similar to what he did when he took her back to the Guild after he unintentionally killed her:

It's a little funny, since the first time he met Mavis and she asked for his help, he helped her out, but this time he's not going to have any of it.

Its sad that they could never be together , I hope that instead of killing zeref , mashima should lift the contradiction curse instead .

Maybe makes it zeref won't die but he will have the normal human life spans.... but the other problem is that Mavis is dead / half alive...... maybe Mavis could try finding a new body and take over it somehow lol .


Anyways , Larcade would probably be the girl In the relationship with dimaria lol... she's too manly for pretty larcade.

You know funny thing this was me for a long time now, although of late I guess I've sort of eased into it, I shipped Natsu x Erza for the longest time in the series and always felt as if Jellal x Erza was shoehorned later on into the story and since Tower of Heaven is in my top 5 arcs in the series, I was a sucker for all the Natsu x Erza:
-Erza was the first girl Natsu cried over
-Erza was the first girl who hugged Natsu
-Erza and Natsu touched foreheads first before Natsu and Lucy did in GMG
Man I was so Natsu x Erza (I even write fics of them), although of late I've eased into Natsu x Lucy and Jellal x Erza (ironically Jellal and Erza are like my two favorite protagonists in the series)
