While it being for the 3DS would have been great, it makes sense they kept it on the DS, due to the ease of modifying data that already exist. They'll likely have the 6th gen or maybe even a R/S remake on the 3DS.

The designs look freaking horrible.
I don't see anything pokemon about the designs.
Except for that, excitement level is pretty much insane right now.
Not for 3ds? Okay, fine with me, really.
I think there will be a kyurem's ultimate form.

Alright, according to the biography section on the 15th movie's website, Kyurem absorbed some of Reshiram and Zekrom energies when they were first created, thus the reason it's able to take the forms it does.

Also, the new trailer for the movie makes the forms look much better then I was expecting.

For players in US, you can get Reshiram or Zekrom for White and Black respectively. They will be level 100 and have a Dragon Gem.

They will be available from March 10th to April 8th.

The first images of Corocoro are out on BW2 and the film. As expected, looks like Keldeo will be distributed for the film. ANd the scans confirm that BW2 is a whole new story.

You know what would be great? If the next Pokémon games broke the formula. I mean Black & White felt like the first true sequels in a long time, right after Generation 2, due to the changes they brought forth and how they went against a lot of the series' clichés. However, I think it's time the main series would do something different rather than to have you gain 8 badges, fight the standard "Team (Blank)", and afterwards defeat the Elite Four plus champion. And maybe expand the region a little, that or let you go to previous regions. Maybe Black & White 2 will do something like this, though I really doubt it.

Anything is possible. There has to be a reason they're making such a point about this being an actual sequel. Anyway, HQ box art is out and I have to say Kyurem's two forms look even better then before.

First, the game is set in Unova and shows the new trainers and the rival. The game is set 2 years latr than in BW and features Unova being partially frozen. The Unova Pokédex has 300 Pokémon within it. There are various new areas in Unova including Hiougi City, where you begin your journey. There are other areas which has a gym leader who focuses upon Poison; Homiga. Another gym leader is Shizui, the Water-type leader. The trainer with the spiky hair is the rival and there is a new researcher called Akuroma who researches Pokémon Strength
Hiougi City has a Pokémon Centre and a Trainer School and areas where you can look upon the areas. There are shops, underwater tunnels with clear glass (mantines flowing overhead), building with blue and red statues.
That's all the information these scans provide.
It has also been confirmed that Black Kyurem will know the move Freeze Shock and that White Kyurem knows the move Ice Burn.
Within the new Unova Pokédex, which contains a combination of old and new Pokémon, Psyduck is #026, Riolu is #033 and Metagross is #254.

Yay Lucario other than that, the characters look a lot younger than the first generation and this reminds me alot of Johto too.
I hope we get to fight Black/White in the game too. The rival seems badass, and hopefully will be badass.
Really going to get it..however I really wanted them to add in more new pokemon instead of bringing old ones back..Johto added new ones and I wanted
them to do the same. I know there's 3 new ones but cos the game was hacked, it wasn't as "new".

The main pokemon site was updated with the HQ artwork. It also implies that Homika is likely the first gym leader and has a Koffing along with her presumed Venipede.

Pokemon Smash aired and showed the opening title and some gameplay. Looks like the sprite animation will be different from BW and Azurill & Lillipup will be catchable on the first route. Also, the beginning city is much bigger then ay of the other beginning towns before. Can watch on Filb.

A poison type gym leader is interesting. They have never done that before have they? Correct me please!

Also, I haven't played Black or White yet (I was kind of waiting for the third one to come out!), and since these are sequels, would it affect my play-through of these games even if I haven't played the ones before? Suggestions?

There was a poison-type gym leader in the first generation. His name was Koga, and in the second generation he became part of the Elite Four.

Seeing the Unova map covered in ice reminds me a little of the geographical/climate changes in Platinum.

I think you should get Bw because Bw is a whole different experience as
ALL of the pokemon are new . Therefore no old faces at all, at least till the champion.
Also because of N , one of the most unique character ever.
Good rivals including N.
One of the better plots in pokemon out there ,with alot of great moments.
+ all the awesome towns and once again, it's the amazing experience.
