I was thinking that probably we will have the remakes of Ruby and Sapphire after the new Generation.
In fact I think that their objective is to bring the remakes on the 3DS.
Hoenn with a 3DS graphic shouldn't be bad.

Even though I find the graphics a little subpar, the pokémon models used in the battle sequences look great! I heard that they used the models featured in the 3DS Pokédex. The cel-shaded effect is pretty good, but I think they'd look better if they were more like the models featured in the Pokédex.

The XY legendaries already have names: Xerneas and Yveltal. Any thoughts on what those names could be related to?

Norse myth speaks about the World Tree having a stag, eagle, and dragon living upon it. Xerneas and Yveltal are a stag and eagle, and it's expected the third will be a dragon like previous trios. We also saw Xerneas in front of a giant tree and France has a big connection to the Norse. Thus that's where the idea came from.

The Eiffel Tower-like monument shown in the trailer. Also, one of the creators/designers visited Paris and tweeted about it. Same guy visited New York before BW.

Perhaps, at this point we're just talking assumption. We probably won't know for sure til the games are release, if they do like they did with BW and give us development interviews.

You know, they could do a map based on Europe. It's a small continent, but with plenty of cultural diversity which I think would make for a great Pokémon region. One city could be based on Paris, another on Venice (think it's been done already, but I was just naming what is probably the most famous Italian city), another could be based on London and set on an island so as to represent Great Britain. Just some ideas

Venice was done in the movies, not in the games. But I adore the idea of exploring an European region, especially a cool 3d forest and mountain.

Yeah in my opinion both of them look much better in the official artwork.
