Dans la chaleur de la nuit, le mal est toujours puni. Aucun danger ne l'impressione... Even 15 years after, I still remember the chorus lyrics by heart, that's quite scary

The French generics were great before Club Dorothée animators trust them all. It's quite funny, that when Minet says Ranma un demi, I hear the generic of Bioman...
I don't know if you guys know about coucoucircus, unfortunatly I learn about it only after its problem with the SACEM. That's quite sad because the guy does a great job. That's where you see that music enterprise are really stupid

^ That would be "Mon Chéri" addressed to a male, and "Ma chérie" addressed to a female. "Mon Chéri" is already pretty nice, "Mon Amour" (for both female & male) is too, and my favourite is "Ma chère et tendre"=female / "Mon cher et tendre"=male (it fits better an already well established relationship though). "Mon dulciné / Ma dulcinée" is poetic but might be a little too much

I don't really have one. I discover between 200 and 500 new songs each week, but I do have a permanent playlist that I listen to everytime I go out. Within this playlist, the three artists from whom I chose the most songs are Susumu Hirasawa, Nujabes and Jan Hammer (Miami Vice ).

I don't know how she did, but Zaz seems very famous internationaly. It was the unique french song my roomate had when I was in Bremen and I heard the single several time on radio.
Well I guess it's better than Patricia Kaas and Mireille Mathieu

I don't know either. Looking at wikipedia right now, I guess that not only her tunes are popular (in the 'old french popular songs' kind of way), but that she also benefited from an active promotional campaign in the neighbouring countries of France.
I can't help but like some of the lyrics of this particular song. I never listened to M.M. but actually, as a kid, I liked Patricia Kaas's music/voice.

How did you come upon this song benelori ? And welcome.

Thanks....and this song...well it's a very old find...me and my friends party a lot to this...well amongst others....
I also like the Zaz version of Dans ma rue....a cover of Edith Piaf's song...
