Marvel's Ultimate universe. It's nice to not having to concentrate on all the time travels and alternate dimentions, and see the heroes face more modern problems. I've also been trying to get my hand on the rest of Elfquest: Discovery and the Marvel Mangaverse books (I have the Spider-man one), but it's hard when live in the middle of nowhere. ^^;

And true about the Ultimate. XD Even if I'm a big fan of Uncanny (House of M and Deciamtion will never get in between my love for it, no matter what) it is quite nice to read Ultimates. XD Totally different storylines, and no complicated stories. XD

In manga: currently that would be One Piece: Nami x Kalifa

In X-Men: In Ultiverse: Spider-Man x Kitty Pryde. Such an original pairing, yet they fit so well together. ^__^

As I said, I've only read the Spider-Man ish of mangaverse, in which there were no real pairings.

Just checked, 4 volumes, first 2 are mixed, 3rd is Spider-Man and 4th is X-Men (with focus on Jean).


Apparently, they are also publishing "New Mangaverse" right now, which is news to me.

They changed Daredevil too, he had this white mask, sorta Anbu-ish, and some kickass schytes, and was hunting demons.

Heh, I tried Ultimates once or twice but it never grabbed me. But at this point I'd probably like it more than the original comics *sighs* Good art, though.

I grew on the 80's-90's Marvel comics and characters and all their history, and it's just disorienting to me for all that to fly out the window. >.<

Um, questions, questions. Interested in astronomy at all? Since you go by the moniker Skywise on a certain other forum... XD
