Shounen The Silvery Crow by Kamijyo Akimine

Kuu-Scans picked up the new series "The Silvery Crow" by the Mangaka of Samurai Deeper Kyo.

It started on May 30 in Weekly Shonen Magazine (not Jump!) and features a curry-loving master thief with a mysterious power and a cute female thief with a pretty energetic personality. Sounds like fun? Yes, it is ^_^



I'm going to edit this post later with detailed informations (have exams next week, so bear with me beeing slow >.< ), so far check out the first chapter release by Kuu-Scans! Grab it here and enjoy.

You said it debuted in Weekly Shonen, right? Are there any more raws out for downloading? It seems like a great series, I'd like to read some of the raws that have been released on the web, if there are any.

Well I read SDK, but I like this more. Hold on. Don't shoot me. But the beginning of this one is making me feel better than the beginning of sdk (which was kinda boring). But let's wait atm to make such quotes

Decent first chapter like how Kyo started more though. Gonna hold my judgement on this series till I get too see more chapters, if it turns out better or not. I mean One Piece didn't exactly have great beggining either but look how that turned out.

Hope that Akimine keeps the whole power up thing low it got out of hand in Kyo so much that it reminded me of DBZ near the end.

I agree.. i am still going to read it but when i was reading it it felt like i have read this story before... and a few times >.>

"Boy eats alot.

Boy meets girl (90% of time up to no good)

Boy learns of magical quest he must go on to grant a 'wish'

Boy fights demons"

It just felt like i have been there done that before..

But i do look forward to seeing where the manga goes in the future

um, the beginning of this story made me laugh alot.In addition, both 2 main characters are somehow cuter than those in KYO
however, I'm crazy on Kyo as well as Kamijyo Akimine, I would enjoy this till the end.The fact that Mr Akimine is really good at creating secrets and surprise as he did in his previous series.I wonder how he will take us aback in this series.

It's really cool manga in my opinion. Personally I like what it came out till now, and really big THX to Kuu-scans team for providing awesome scanaltion on that series

And I really like curry loving main character, and smexy Female character, Lola-was it? xD
