I actually have to look up that game. I've heard it mentioned in a bunch of places but I'm not familiar with it.

Edit: Ah nvm, it's that new game by the Bastion creators. Yeah, definitely getting that one.

Yeah, too bad there isn't any DLC yet. And I just realized it's compatible with an XBOX controller, damn I wish I played Bastion with a controller.

I heard good things about it, but haven't played it personally.

Most games that support controllers are compatible with it. It's probably the best option for games on the PC.

Yeah, it's the "Metroidvania" kind of game. Brings back so much memories. Pretty retro, but is beautiful and sounds great.

The Forest seems like going to be a good game

It's still buggy as hell though, but it's worth to try.

Thinking about getting Payday 2 as well, looks fun.

Papers, Please has been a pretty unique experience, I have to say. Not sure how much replay value it will have, but such a weird game...lol

Watched OddOne play Papers, Please quite a bit. Was kinda troll and fun due to him being a great entertainer, but not sure how much fun I would personally have playing it. Was kinda the same with Stanley's Parable or whatever it was called. Looked so troll and fun, but I played it for 30 min and got bored.

I've put 3.5 hours into it so far. It's a really interesting concept and definitely has a unique message to it. Having a lot of fun conspiring with revolutionists

Gone Home is actually good, but it's not a game where gameplay is the main concern. Personally I like it though.

I was arrested for not letting my Boss's friend through...completely forgot her name as it was like a week later...wtf. Not starting another game atm.

No, it's definitely a Walking Simulator...I mean, it has many strong points, the problem is some storylines aren't given enough spotlight and they're like completely forgotten about unless you go out of your way to find them. Your Mom and Dad have nowhere near the attention that your sister gets...kind of a shame. Especially given how abrupt the ending is as well. That caught me off guard.

Really enjoying Kentucky Route Zero so far. But I suggest that you only play it at night. It's probably a must-do for atmospheric games like this.

Figured many people would be interested in this. I bought it early so I paid $5 more, but still a pretty good deal.

I had good times playing Infinite, and the first Bioshock is simply a classic. A great deal, I'd say.

Finally got up to date with Kentucky Route Zero. The game still has two acts yet to be released this year, but wow, it was really enjoyable. I can't recall having a gaming experience quite like this one. It's just visually and aurally stunning. The story and the world is pretty bonkers, but it's too charming for that to really throw you off and it eventually becomes par for the course...somehow.

I even haven't finished with Kentucky Route, but now I'm currently loving Shovel Knight. Those who seek Metroidvania games should buy it, it's cool and the OST is just great.

I bought bastion (played 1h30), rogue legacy (1h), shadowrun returns (didn't start yet), finished Hellsing 2 (good without being great), played chapter 3 and 4 of "wolf among us" (very good). But It's still an extremely poor gaming year. It's simple, in my gaming life, I think it's the poorest. Last year was Bioshock infinite, tomb raider and last of us at this time of the year ... None of the games this year is reaching half the quality of those three.

The only very great game I played this year is South Park and I'm starting to despair finding an other one this year. Dragon Age Inquisition, I'm counting on you

Finished Shovel Knight couple of hours ago, let me just reiterate that it's a good game. Normally you pay only for nostalgic feelings on games like this, but honestly I think Shovel Knight offers more compared to other similar games. I'm going to play it again online with Transistor just for the trophies and feats.

As good as it might be, $15 for a game that looks like that is pretty questionable IMO. How many hours did it take for you to beat it?
