i saw the first 2 episodes of "the 100," it is by far the worst show I've seen. Terrible terrible terrible acting with massive amounts of cheesiness. -100/10 no joke.

I just started watching Bates Motel, and so far it's not bad.

Another break for The Black List. Just when I decided I wasn't annoyed by it anymore and catch up, it goes on it's third break (Xmas, Olympics, now this).

Who cares? They're both TV shows.

It's fascinating how some shows are even in existence.

Also how they are able to last so long while good shows get canceled.

A little bit like ALIAS: Secret Agent, Female lead, lots of secrets, ...
But Blacklist got a lethal weapon ALIAS didn't have: James Spader who is perfect as always. the first 5 minutes of the show were enough to decide I was going to like it.

Infamous traitor turns himself in to the FBI and requests to only deal with a specific, new FBI agent and her only. He offers leads to other names of criminals, some that the FBI aren't even aware exist. Super underground stuff. But the appeal is Spader and his connection to this agent, etc. A lot of mystery.

Anyone saw the how I met your mother finale?

I have mixed feelings about the finale.... On one hand since I saw the first episode and through the seasons I always found it weird that ted would not end up with robin. We knew she was not the mother but the series was ultimately about that particular relationship. Then every time ted appeared to get some sort of closure it appeared like he went right back to where he started. Same thing with robin or barney.... They never really actually grew, they just thought we did and kinda fooled us into it. The divorce thing made too much sense IMO, it is actually a extremely realistic scenario. As I saw the wedding developments I had a hard time seeing them actually ending up together. I would argue that the last season made a point of actually hinting at the future divorce. In this regard ted ending with robin kinda makes sense. As a young couple they couldn't work they had their own objectives. But as an old couple that had already lived their dreams they were actually pretty viable.

For me what actually killed it was the fact that the mother never really became a part of the gang. Robin made the gang in less than a season however the same can't be said for the mother in more than a decade. During the finale they still spoke of the gang as the 5 of them, not the 6 of them.... When they took the picture at the bar before ted's wedding the mom took the picture and wasn't in it. She was never there for the big moments, she was apparently taking care of the kids or something. I don't think it is important to know what disease killed her however her death was definitely too quick even if it was foreshadowed earlier. I get the ending, I get what the writers were going for but I think some insight into ted's married life and seeing her as a part of the gang would have made all the difference even if she died.

Majority of the people are unhappy with the ending. I never saw the show nor do I have any inclination to, but I'm not sure if you can really blame the writers if they were forced to write one or two more seasons instead of ending it when they wanted to.

They didn't do anything of the sort. If anything they did exactly the show they wanted and ended it precisely like they wanted. The show had 9 seasons and a part of the ending was filmed all the way back to season 2.

I know Segel didn't want to stay with the show that long, but I thought the show was supposed to end a season or two ago.

I quit the show years ago because it wasn't that funny anymore for me and because Josh Radnor is for me a second-tier actor at best. The lead is weak and after 3-4 years of Barney, I had enough.

Still a good show for me but ,like friends, massively overrated and far from the genius of Seinfeld.

Yeah, I kinda of mirror the same thoughts. I never found the "Barney thing" funny...maybe I missed something? lol

Well, the sitcom format will always be held to that standard, and it's quite the impossible one.

I'm currently watching Bates Motel, and it's a lot better than I expected. So, I definitely recommend you guys watch it.

HIMYM's series finale will receive an alternate ending, which comes with the season's DVD release. From TVLine:

If you didn’t like the finale, I guess that happens. We tried something and it didn’t connect with you. I hope we’re still friends. So anyway, here’s a bit of news: 16 days ago today we were in the HIMYM edit room, trying to decide between two very different endings. We only shot one script, but through edit room magic we had two possible outcomes for the series. We chose the ending we chose and we stand by it. But we loved the other version too. We’re going to include that version on the Complete Series DVD as an alternate finale to How I Met Your Mother.

I know it didn't start well but agents of shield is becoming quite good. The last episodes were way above average.
