If you like elementary, I heavily recommend "Forever". Main character is a legist with nearly inhuman observation skills. Each episode is a police investigation in which a female inspector is using the legist skills to investigate. Last precision, the legist have one unusual feature: he is immortal and more than 200 years old.

Due to the limits of the show, that is at least somewhat more understandable (but not any more digestible) than what they're doing with Dorne...

Weird choice , nintendo games are more well known for their gameplay. Story and characters' depth isn t the first thing coming to mind when thinking about zelda.

I watched the first 2 episodes just now. It's okay I guess. Pretty nice cinematography, pretty good tension. But I got a little bored, with both episodes I had this "Yawnn, I'll stop it for a while go to fridge, end playing Facebook games moment". Well the early episodes tend to take their time to set things up. It might be just that. I also excepted to be more darkly funny, but didn't give a grin or anything.

I might be over critical though, 'cause you know, Breaking Bad. It wasn't bad. Definetly gonna keep looking.

Latest episode of supernatural is making me feel old. It's displaying ultra connected college girls (twitter, facebook, snapchat ...) who think that 25 years old people are old. I feel like I'm living in a different world. Ok, it's just a tv show but still...

Not related to TV or Supernatural really, but that feeling as really been creeping up lately. The literal meaning of "New Slang" by The Shins is becoming more and more real every day...


Anyone keeping up with Girls this season? I caught up after my HBO was screwed up.

Last episode of gotham: that was bold, very bold. They really have confidence for showing a possible explanation for the youth of the joker. The actor playing future Joker is nailing it but it's pretty much confirming what I think about all actors giving their voices to the Joker: it's a great role before being a great interpretation. For an actor, playing the joker is caviar.

The 100 is the best show on tv right now. I'm also currently keeping up with Gotham, Better Cal Saul, John Oliver's show, and Archer when I can remember it.

New season of House of Cards

Man, I am very excited! I cannot wait to watch it since I saw the trailer for season 3.

The hype for that show seems to have decreased a lot. The first season seemed really popular, but I saw a lot of bad things about the second season.

house of cards is simly amazing , i cant imagine what people would call bad about season 2

i started watching gotham again .im not really a big fan of the show eventhough i love batman . its pacing is too slow . i wasnt expecting guns and explosions every episode but something feels missing
i love the guy playing penguin tho ,he is doing a great job

the scene penguin met nygma at the police station was beautiful . that hidden tension complemented with the music was very well done . i like this kind of subtle yet meaningful moments

Second season was totally fine in my book. There was a decline in quality, but it wasn't bad at all.

I am not sure about the hype though, as far as internet goes, people have been very enthusiastic about season 3 since the trailer was released. I do not know about its Nielsen rating and stuff.

I just watched the first two episodes of the new season and it's good. House of cards is full of powerful characters: people with a strong aura, sure almost ready to do anything, but really fascinating people.

I saw a lot of people saying it turned into a soap opera or something.

It's a Netflix show, so I'm not even sure it has a Nielsen rating. It would only have streaming numbers.

I finished season 3 of house of cards (I'm already a tv serie addict but now that I'm stuck home with a twisted ankle ... needless to say that the playstation, netflix and other networks are working at full speed ...).

If I have to name one character of this season: it's Doug Stamper. His story, his reeducation, his choices, his schemes, ... He and Remy Danton are basically the same person: a loner ready to anything for his career who is starting to doubt himself. Is it worth doing all that instead of a 9AM-5PM job? Is it worth being alone? But in the end, Remy and Doug are doing a very different choice. I won't spoil more than that but I really empathize with Doug this season.

Of course, Frank Underwood is still the main character. He would do anything to leave a legacy, to have a place in history. He is not just power hungry, he want to be a legend and he is ready to do anything for it. And from a very pragmatic perspective, I can't even say he is that wrong in his decisions. He left the human part of himself on the side and basically the biggest pain in the ass for him is due to him being human for just 10 minutes. Due to 10 minutes of niceness with the old guy with Alzheimer, he created his greatest enemy of the season: DUMBAR.

And then there is the wife, she is definitevely the most fucked up character in House of cards. At some point, I even thought she was about to commit suicide. She doesn't know what she wants until the very end of the season. The character is well played but she can be extremely annoying because she can't accept herself and is a massive hypocrite.

Then, there are the other characters: Gavin, the writer, Jackie and the new journalist from the telegraph, ... and then there is the ruthless russian president who is presented like a cunning ex-KGB agent. Sounds familiar ? Honestly, only the bear is missing in the picture.
