The discussiong had come up earlier about possible races the other commandments could have belonged to. And the possibility of octololi being a fairy did come up as well. It's a good setup, the god of giants and first fairy king against diane and king....

I don't think they are all from other races but they have abilities similar to Vampires. Witch isn't a race, a Dwarf moving via levitation is extremely odd and Derrierrie doesn't look like a Werewolf at all. There is still the possibility that Meliodas and Zeldris are hybrid but having Goddess blood is extremely unlikely, Meliodas didn't show this kind of power, he is either a full Demon or Human hybrid, Goddess powers are also their nemesis. I thought Gray Lord was a Fairy but with the Gloxinia reveal it's not possible. All the others, including Gowther are probably full Demons, I like the possibility of Monspiet being a Vampire though.

well, the goddess clan want mel dead for a reason....(possibly because he's an abomination).

i'm still going to stick by my theory that mel is 1/2 goddess and this is why he is drawn to liz/elizabeth...(him and estarossa maybe twins).
i think he was in love with the goddess who keeps being resurrected thru the likes of liz/beth....maybe her punishment for loving a demon.

also, why were the commandments formed to begin with if it wasn't for the great war(gowther was replaced by fraudrin well before that)....so why?
i believe to keep mel in check......he was called the "curse of the demon clan" by galan.

Before Gloxinia's true former race
My original theory are Gloxinia were elves and Gray Lord were fairy but look like not anyone
cos I thought Derrierrie's form with naked and hair look like Werewolf or beast queen form and fights spirt

Just suggestion

wait and see :)

but,werewolves would fall into a shapeshifter catagory....like ban's foster dad,zhivago(but he was a beastman).

but, just like vampires(werewolves) would all ultimately fall under human.

yeah....i agree.....there is a human within them.

i just what to know why the ten commandments were formed in the first place.....obviously the demon king is strong with just regular reds/grays....seeing how he defeated dolor/gloxina.....
so why the need of a black-ops team like the commandments?

not to mention they were formed long before the great war....gowther was replaced:heh

i see that....but if the demon king is embodying magic upon defeated enemies...why even have a special group like the commandments?

either 1 of 2 things....
to disgrace his falling enemies(by making them demons) or for a special purpose.....i mean these breaking commandments thingy.how many warrior's in the heat of battle really stop to have a convo to catch someone in a lie for ex...?
all of these commandments seem to be put into place to keep a certain objective in place...not so much as to fight wars if you ask me...but that's just me i guess:XD

I think Meliodas and Gowther were first original commandents with his brothers in pre great wars I think :0

Well, Meliodas described them as the most elite warriors, implying their main purpose was fighting.
Their decrees tie well to war circumstances, too: Galan would be the ideal interrogator, Merascylla would have the faithless incapacitated, Gowther/Fraudrin would inflict the curse of Selflessness on any selfish person in the war, and so on.

Maybe but I think he may remove or lost his commandment of his refuse sides with his fellow demon that anger the demon kings make this that.
That is why Galen never met him during the great wars :)

Well, derriere does not look like a wolf but her eyes are definitely wolflike. I could buy moonspiet being a former vampire as well... You'd have a vampire-werewolf combo. It'd be interesting if they are the origin of their respective former and probably extinct clans. I wouldn't put it past nakaba to do the pairing.

We do not know their decrees, but it may not only relate to the enemy forces.
Say, if Gloxinia's decree is associated with laziness, phlegmatic "warriors" of the demons would fall prey to it. This is likely not true, but I'm simply giving an example.
Additionally, if the decree concerning the worshipping of a single god were present, one could not betray the Demon King or such. Dunno, there are many possibilities.

yes......the decree of praising a false god(other than the demon king)....how did this work on the bird that landed on estarossa?
this commandment has to be only for demons if the demon king made it....no?
