Djokovic is not that impressive a grass court player IMO, Murray has some queens club titles. The Olympics, the final last year. And prior to last years final, and losing to superb Roddick in 09, his Wimbledon campaigns are halted by Nadal. He also took out Djokovic at the Olympics last year...which was held at Wimbledon.

You're right about that. Djokovic is a great hard court player. He battles and defends really well on clay and grass, but he lacks the same offensive ability that he does on hard court. Admittedly, Djokovic lost to Murray in the US Open Final last season.

Djokovic is the king of Australia these days, but if you look back just a mere handful of years, you'll see a player who wilted in the heat against Roddick and others.

Haha...i remember pre 11 Djokovic...he lost to tsonga 5 straight times (in one match he got so mad in a tie break he hit a 187 KMH FH which was his only point in the TB). He retired due to heat against Roddick in 09, lost to tsonga in '10 AO,Melzer etc. There is a running joke that he just needs to retire from a USO match to have the career retirement grand slam.

Neither is Nadal, but both of them have won the title (funny thing, that's only grass title Nole has right?)

How many grass titles are there anyway? Not much, and that's why there aren't really many "impressive grass court players"...

Nadal made 5 straight (06,07,08,10,11) wimbledon finals, and won 2 of them. He has a queens title under his belt as well. Djokofic has 3 finals, one title. There's at least 3 possible grass court titles, queens/halle after the FO, Eastbourne and some other one the weak after than, then Wimbledon.

Some players (Federer,Sampras,Jmac) are just good on the grass ;-;

He's Scottish! so i give him a shot~

We'll see. Nothing beats retiring against Roddick, a man who had to wear at least three different shirts almost every match.

Murray sort of won Wimbledon, but it was only the Olympics and it was two out of three, I believe.

Stak was up the break in the third, but then choked it away and went away in the fourth.

Lisicki has played very well so far, although Serena's been poor.

This tournament has given me a headache lol, bloody hell. It's all anyone's game I guess, for the women at least. Well done Lisicki; she had a solid game plan, faultered a bit in the second set but recovered well to take the match.

Verdasco sort of gives away the end of the third. He'll serve first to start the fourth.

The crowd's noises during key points on Verdasco's serve late in the fourth and fifth sets really leaves me with a bad taste in the mouth after this win for Murray.

People like to say the british crowd is the best but they can be nasty....this gives me flashbacks to Murray VS Gasquet in 08...cheering for his double faults and jeering when he's trying to concentrate.

I'm in a rather bad state but I couldn't help watching Radwanska vs. Lisicki. To be honest I thought she would loose but oh my god, she really did it! Can't believe we finally have a female player after Steffi who can win a Grand Slam title. Just one more step please, she really deserves it

No matter what I'm so gonna watch that match on Saturday

Lisicki had a good run a few years ago and with her serve I'm not surprised..Bartoli on the other hand @_@ wow lol. Lisicki had to take out serena..she deserves this title

Bartoli lost the 2007 Wimbledon Final to Venus. She even had to beat Henin along the way. Still, this year, Bartoli didn't actually beat anyone good (Sloane Stephens really isn't a top player) on the way to the Final.

Lisicki does deserve the title, but that doesn't mean she'll win.

Heh i've seen my fair share of "deserves to win but doesn't" rooting for her though. I think i had a crush on her in '11 when she made a run to the semis because she served 120MPH consistently lol

Exactly. We've all seen plenty of this type of situation. I am rooting for Lisicki for two reasons. If you're a good player and you actually outplayed Serena at times in your match, you shouldn't be losing the Grand Slam. Second, I just can't stand Bartoli because of the two handed forehand, the terrible service motion, and the way that she plays the "injury timeout" card to rattle her opponents.
