8-6 Tiebreak. Wawrinka won straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6(8-6 tiebreak) That failed drop shot caused Nishikori the game.

I thought stan wasn't playing all that well this tournament..but he steps it up big time to the other top players. QF is good result for Kei though.

I didn't watch the any of today's men's action but watched most of Keys vs Venus when it aired. Again, it was my first time watching Keys play and she's another one who will be a definite threat to the women's game if she keeps working her game to ensure she's not just a big hitter. She showed some deft touches in behind the net and good court coverage, so hopefully her fitness issues are resolved.
Venus will be disappointed to not have capitalised on Key's injury and was just wasteful, but credit to her opponent for sticking through and playing out the match. After a while it seemed as if the injury wasn't a bother anymore.

During the early parts of that first set, I worried Murray was in for a rough time; all the long games seemed to be played on his serve. I was pleasantly surprised to see him taking the second, even more so at 6-0. I'm happy he's carried himself to the final. Now to await Djokovic, I guess. I wonder if he'll have a game plan against him.

I've been wrong about the Kei and Berdych picks, so now I wonder if I'll be wrong about my Djokovic pick against Stan.

I was wrong about Anderson vs Nadal, but I was right about Berdych beating Nadal.

I'd like andy to win the whole thing.

@goldB when Murray got riled up over Berdych's muttering...i knew what was to come. Murray loves that stuff.

@Frosty...i'm not so sure either. Stan played like ass..until he got to Kei, he had us fooled the whole time lol. I'd like Murray to win for sure though..Stan or Novak would be a tough ask..fingers crossed.

As for womens...Serena will maul Maria as usual.

I saw Murray sniffing the air a few times; he was really into his shit during this match. I think this win game him a huge boost going into the final, but should it be Novak; it'd be a different sort of animal.

Disappointed in Stan to lose like that; I thought the momentum was on his side after coming from behind to win that 4th set and to be bageled...

Now Djokovic vs Murray in the final. Verdict? Who do you want to win and who do you think will win?

I'm gonna root for Murray but I think Djokovic knows how to play Andy quite well and will win the match in maybe 4.

Rooting for Murray only because it would be more interesting. Fine with either outcome. Stan and Djokers match was very poor quality. ESPN commentators kept saying "not all 5 setters are epics"..there's the proof "
