You read A Song of Ice and Fire yuki?

Wut...why?I only finished the first book, and half of the second book, then I stopped altogether.![]()

Really? You mean the gore or sex?I am a bookworm, but I do have limit... There are too many better-not-to-be-imagined scenes...
I won't read any further because I get the feeling that in the end, everybody dies anyway...
I better spend my time reading other quality books.
GRRM just has the reputation of holding no character death-proof.
He's a great singer. My favorite video of his is this one:I dunno who that is but he must be awesome, I'll youtube him![]()
Umm... both?Really? You mean the gore or sex?
LOL...no, that's an exaggerationGRRM just has the reputation of holding no character death-proof.
Fair enough, but you're missing out.
but my instinct with books has never failed me, so if I stop reading a book and not continuing it, it is for a very good reason. But well, that's me. Not everyone has the same taste with me.

When I'm talking about the sex scenes, it's about the show. If I'm talking about the gore, it's about the book. Are you going off of the books or the TV Show? Because the sex scenes are really minimal if you look at the content of the story as a whole.
No, the book is not erotic. But the description of the killing, the massacre... well, my imagination just multiply them in my head, and it scares me. My imagination, I mean. The sex part is an urban legend seriously. The show is just multiplying it. Other than that GRR Martin didn't make an erotic or pornographic description of the sex scenes... And they have a real purpose to the story, it's not sex for the sake of sex. And as Gary said there is few sex overall.

No, even the show cannot match my imagination.Well there's plenty of gore in the show too
I guess I understand, and I don't think it's just because I'm a guy and gross things don't bother me. I'm not sure which scenes you're referring to but I don't think it's as bad as you think it is. Oh well.
OkayNo, even the show cannot match my imagination.
Well, I don't actually watch the show, I only see snippets of it, and from the little I see, I already dislike it, so I don't think I want to see the bigger picture.

. Well, personal preference I guess
Not so much of a judgment. More of an instinct. *shrugs*Okay
Ah so your judgment is unfounded and premature then. Well, personal preference I guess

Well, at least you're honest about your opinion's substanceNot so much of a judgment. More of an instinct. *shrugs*

That line has a quite deep meaning if you think about it.
