Cars for the weak! I got a 360 this autumn and I love it! <3 If you've checked out 360 vs Wii vs PS3 and like the games that 360 has/will get, I can definitely recommend it (I also own a Wii, which is <33, but that's beside the point, seeing as they're two very different consoles with very different games ^^ Dunno much about PS3 and don't care except for when a Final Fantasy 7 remake comes >_<).

Anyway, yes, 360 has great games. I don't know how much you've looked into reviews, but here's a GOTY list from Gamespy and other nice games be found here etc. Some games I can recommend from experience are Bioshock (incredible atmosphere), Halo 3 (Fun campaign and great multiplayer), Mass Effect (Sci-fi RPG), Gears of War, Guitar Hero 2/3, Dead or Alive4/Virtua fighter 5 (if you like fighting games), F.E.A.R (if you like horror shooters), Naruto: Rise of a Ninja (Great Naruto game), The Orange Box (All Half-life 2 games, Portal - best game of the year in my opinion, TRY IT, and great MP action with TF2 - which I'm playing an unhealthy amount of on PC nowadays >_>), Fight Night Round 3 (if you like boxing), Forza 2 (for racing gaming) etc etc. So much to list up

Games I'm planning on trying/buying/leeching from friends are Call of Duty 4 and Assassins Creed, aand Dead Rising. So there you go, lots of games to choose from

Anticipating, hum... AC2? >_> Mass Effect sequels... the new Star Wars game... I'm sure I'm forgetting lots, but ohwell.

And Live, the online-part, is nicely done and it just works <3 Demos, arcade games and it goes fast to find online games. The headset and voice-communication is great too, especially in games like Halo 3.

Anything else...? Hmm, if you do decide to get one, go for the Premium version (or Elite if have a lot of money >_>), you'll want that wireless controller, headset and HDD. And make sure that it's not a very old shipment, the older 360s have a fail-percentage that's relatively high (though it comes with a 3 year warranty).

I got halo 3 lol...But most of the exclusive 360 games are good. You should try out Bioshock or Enchanted Arms

Im gonna save up to buy the 360. I used to spend hours at my friends house playing Halo3 on xbox live. I really need to get my own so I could get mass effect and bioshock.

I've definitely already been sold on getting a X-Box 360, the tires just put off the inevitable! I'm going to get it this spring or summer at least. And yes, I heard about the HDD and also the fail-percentage thing. Scary stuff. Thanks.

speaking of XBOX 360, I just bought mine saturday, and believe me: you will be happy when you buy yours!, i've played 4 games: forza 2, marvel ultimate alliance, dead or alive 4 and virtua fighter 5,and is really great the ammount of fun you will have; still not played in LIVE, but for me is not so important, I can play alone well, hehe! but the list of games for 360 is really good, and for the next gen, IMO, the 360 is the best choice, because the 90% of the games that will be in play 3 also will be in 360, and the newest models are more protected against the overheating, só the infamous 3 red lights now are almost impossible to show up, and assassin's creed and gears of wars are superbs!

what do you think is the potential for prototype for 360?

Prototype looks promising. It looks like it will be a city big like spider-mans or supermans. He runs like a car and can jump very high and is very athletic and has killer moves . What are your thoughts on this particular game?

What If A New Shenmu Game came out for 360?

To me the shenmu game for dream cast was one of the best games ive ever played and it was way ahead of its time. I would love to see another game of shenmu come out for a next gen console like 360. I think it would rock and what do you think?

You can't go wrong with a 360, that's for sure. Sadly, the japanese gaming support sucks...wait, Ninja Gaiden 2, Devil May Cry 4, Lost Odyssey, Condemned 2, Soulcalibur IV and Resident Evil 5 (Me knows it's only two exclusives, but hey, it's good enough for me)?

Looks like my only criticism about the 360 is slowly fading away. Oh well.

Oh, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja is really good. It made me a fan. Nuff said.

I get mine on sunday. A little bit of info before you go off and buy Lost Odyessy. There are atleast 50 hours of playing time in the game, 20 of them are cinematics.
The game I wanna buy when it comes out is definitly Star wars the force unleashed. Man the shit you can do with the force is amazing!

If this were to happen, I would hook my dreamcast up, finish playing through Shenmue 1, find Shenmue 2 and ponder on the thought wether or not if I should invest in a xbox360, if I'll be investing in a PS3. But it would definitely peak interest if Shenmue 2 leaves me hanging in some sort of way, story-wise.

You have no idea. Shenmue 2 is known to end in an... interesting way.

Shenmue 3 would indeed be awesome, but it would take a lot of money to develop. And SEGA has been losing quite a bit of that stuff lately.

If something like Shenmue would make you happy, I suggest you pick up Yakuza (Ryu ga Gotoku), also by SEGA.

LoL, 20 out of 50 hours are cinematics... that sounds like a lot of impatient sitting around waiting for a chance to start gaming again. XD

It's crazy how many exclusive games the 360 is getting in comparison with the PS3 right now, does anybody know why?

I know man, thats too much watchin. Well microsoft is really tryin to make the 360 the PS2 for this generation which probably wont happen so thats one of the reasons for having a bunch of new exclusive titles. They are also trying to become the quote " console of choice for everyone in the family".

Well, I think the 360 has made some very good moves. I once never considered that console, but now... well, with the Wii the only game I really want to play is Zelda, and with the PS3 I'm still waiting for the FFXIII games. The X-Box all of a sudden seems to be coming up with the most original titles that look more intriguing.

I guess it's all a matter of circumstances though.
