I have Volumes 1 through 8 of the first manga. I don't read Japanese unless I want to translate it, so I don't have the last few volumes, or any of :re in Tankabon format.

Lol, same here, though I have volumes 1-4 of :re too and in spanish.
Actually Im lucky the spanish official translation is faithful (a little redundant with the pronouns but still pretty good), I read that french and german ones are terrible, though I usually prefer english to read manga in general, sounds better

Speaking of volumes, here's the cover for volume 10. Probably my favourite or second favourite from :re so far. All the symbolism with the red iris, the (formerly) human eye covered, the taped mouth... I like the colours too.

:re Volume 10's cover reminds me of the cover for the Silence of the Lambs.

The relationship between Hannibal and Clarice is also very akin to Donato and Urie's. They both manage to cleverly dig into their victim's pasts: Clarice's trauma motivates her to find solace in saving Catherine whereas Urie's ambition stems from seeking acknowledgment from his father and because he lacked a real family, which Donato uses to take advantage of him.

I thought they would postpone the release date given the problem with the actress that plays Touka but in the end it comes in summer.

Woah there hold your horses for a moment. The original manga was 144 chapters yes? While no one has said :re has to be the same length as part 1, I can't actually see :re being dragged out for that long. Ishida seems to be very much a quality over quantity person.

Maybe since he already used "Halfway" as a chapter title Sensei thought it wouldn't have the same affect the 2nd time. Who knows what Sensei has up his sleeve....
