Well we've seen he uses glasses for reading already :nod

Not sure, should ghouls have no such handicaps? (Maybe it was said somewhere that Nishiki wears his for show but I don't remember anything like that atm) It could also be to link him with Arima if Ishida is setting up some grand revelation about Kaneki/Arima, it may also be for fanservice, it may also be because Arima stabbed him through his eyes before :lmao

But I like them~ xD

Aren't their senses better than humans? (not sure if it was mentioned in the manga but their sense os smell definitely is, I tend to assume it's the case for all their senses in case like that).

Rize wears glasses and she is a bookworm so it might be only their sense of smell.

Tokyo Ghoul:re” Teams Up With Job Site to Recruit Part-Time Investigators

On December 19th, the first collection of Tokyo Ghoul:re manga will be published along with the Tokyo Ghoul:Old Days prose story collection. Sui Ishida’s sequel series follows the Commission of Counter Ghoul investigator team Quinx Squad, and to promote the release, a collaboration with part-time job site WEB an has launched.

Fans are invited to submit a rirekisho resume for a chance to become an investigator, drawn by Ishida. Prizes including CCG ID cards and appointment books will also be awarded.

The Tokyo Ghoul anime returns to Tokyo MX for the launch of its broadcast on January 8th. TV Aichi, TV Osaka, TVQ Kyushu, AT-X and Dlife broadcasts will start over the next week. amazarashi provide the ending “Seasons Dying One After Another;” with some indicators suggesting a 24 episode run.

Well they may be, but they probably still get sick? Rize and Nishiki both wear glasses, so I'm guessing they do.

I think so too, for me it's a further statement that ghouls and humans aren't really diffferent. They make friends, they love others, they have hobbies, they get sick, etc. - only difference is what they eat :XD

I mean it's been an ongoing topic in the manga for very long now, so I wouldn't be surprised if Ishida intended for them to be just that similar.

I wonder about that too, since they can heal quickly. Rize didn't wear glasses in that side story of her. I felt it's because ghouls like her are constantly moving about having to take on new identities and that time she decided to wear glasses. Maybe Nishiki is the same.

Maybe they see better only when their eyes are red or use their kagunes? Nishiki likes to act as an human so maybe he is wearing them for fun, he can't wear them when he has his mask too.

We don't know what the award is for. But KinMokuSei (KinMoku other reading ->KaneKi) is sort of a spirit flower of Kaneki. Like Idk if you guys read the :Re prologue but it has Kinmokusei branch as a symbol of Kaneki, so.... For myself, I think it may be an award for being a half-ghoul? For defeating his inner ghoul? I mean it can't be a coincidence that he has an award named that :lmao

The sad thing is that Sasaki himself doesn't know anything's wrong/funny about the name of the award, isn't it? Since he doesn't know about Kaneki. T_T
