I meant how quickly we will receive the raws online.
Not one can say for sure - however I seriously doubt that the release of the raws on the internet will be postponed by more than a few days.

I am not 100% sure about the background yet I think the main reason for Shuueishas (and other Japanese publishing houses) crackdown on sites like rawparadise was basically the raw-scans appearing on the web online days before the mangas were even published in Japan. If you add to this the fact that nearly 90% of the people using rawparadise were located in Japan (there are some websites which offer statistical analysis of websites, including access by region) then you should understand why the publishing companies have a certain problem with this.

Rawparaside though, was only a link collection: the files containing the raw-scans themselves always were located at various internet-sites offering file-hosting services (and after a short research, it seems to me that some of the previously posted raws are still available there).

Probably Shuueisha & co are also busy trying to hunt down the people responsible for scanning the manga days before it is released. The number of possible suspects can only be rather small, so those folks probably have to be much more prudent now (Japanese jails, while surely not as bad as those in countries like Turkey or Philippines, ain't the location one wants to lodge at for a longer period, and the Japanese authorities have proven to be rather strict when it comes to copyright violation)

Regardless of all that, once the magazine containing the particular manga has been released, it will probably not take long until the raws circulate on the internet. With China being located right in the neighborhood, Chinese Edited Mangas should even appear before rawscans, methinks.

Apart from all that, the next Young Jump (the magazine where Tough appears) will hit the shelves on April 22nd, meaning it should be available in special stores here in Europe about 3 to 5 days later (provided the volcano in Iceland keeps his caldera shut, of course).

Anyone know whats going on with the Edited Mangas of this?, we were getting 5-6 chapters a month, but seemingly since the raw crackdown its rather slow (idk if thats the reason tho)

A link for chapter 323, I found : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=60Y5C2YS
Thanks for the link!

I've been on vacation to New York, and afterwards been busy catching up with work, and then discovered that the 'Young Jump' is harder to find round here than the 'Weekly Playboy' (which I usually buy each week XD )

Actually this chapter seems quite self-explaining by the impact of pictures alone. Since having missed the past 2 chapters, I just assume that the main person in this flashback is 'Phantom Joe' - please correct me if I am wrong! (Actually the guy in the flashback looks older than both Kiryuu and Seiko, whereas he should be more or less of same age with them... but anyway)

The intro of the chapter reminiscences on the country: Dried out earth, but lots of guns. A land where murderers, rapists and worse have become heroes.
Joe, caring for a gaggle of little children, looks at a field of narcotics and muses that it's always the weakest that suffer most.
A ragtag gang appears in a Jeep, mocking Joe and order that the little boy, who is obviously close to Joe, joins their ranks. The leader of that groups speaks the usual bullshit people with a gun in their hand always speak and threatens Joe (however Joe seems to be unimpressed). When he finally is about to pull the trigger, he receives a bullet right into his head, followed by some grenade blowing up his Jeep and his henchmen.
The little kid obviously also got caught by the explosion. Scene switches then to an officer in an armored vehicle, who exclaims his joy that both the violent gang-members as well as the little kid (whom he refers to as a 'thieving rat') shall be obliterated.

The new chapter (324) continues with the flashback to Joe(?)s past.

After the grenade hit the Jeep, body parts fly around. The officer lifts his bazooka seemingly at the little boy, Joe cannot do anything against it and with the explosion lights turn out for him.

Awakening again he seems to ask himself why he came to this country in the first place, and answers this question himself: because he wanted to teach children about Japanese martial arts and becoming healthy, because he felt obliged to give something back, and that is why he decided to go to the poorest country in the world.

Opening his eyes, he finds himself hanging from the ceiling attached to a few meat-hooks, and the officer standing in front of him. He starts to mock Joe, yet comments that he can see the violence and hatred in Joes eyes, even acknowledges Joe to be a strong fighter - but in the end, he says, that is to no avail against a sadist like him.

Joe asks about the little boy, the immediate answer being: "blown to pieces", followed by a "just joking".

Afterwards the officer pulls his knife and threatens to kill Joe, because stealing from him is a major crime, but ultimately leaves the execution to someone else: door opens and the little boy comes in, armed with a rifle. He's ordered to shoot Joe, but hesitates and doesn't want to do it. Joe calmly speaks to him and also tells him to shoot.

Final scene sees Joe hanging from the hooks, with the boy aiming the rifle right upon him

Well, chapter 325 is once again one that requires little explanation - the action mostly speaks louder than the words. Still:

Joe once again encourages the boy, who shoots him with the rifle. Joe muses that he knew exactly what utter hell this country was before he decided to go there.
The commander says that Issa will become a good killer, and mocks Joe having been nothing but a third-rate Bruce Lee - and immediately gets his head locked in Joes legs. It's revealed to him that Joes just re-directed the course of the bullet with his Yuugenshinkageryuu techique. Then his neck gets snapped and the last pages see Joe tearing through the guys henchmen.
He continues musing, that he probably came to this living hell for a purpose: to test his skills in a most live threatening situation, to calm down his boiling blood. He feels the devil inside of him laughing and starts to feel pleasure by destroying other people and making them powerless.

Andy3004 thank you for the clarification on the last chapters. Someone on the forum Ritual told us that the character that we see from Chapter 323 would not be "Phantom" Joe but Kusakabe Kakugo. This character could be the father of Kiichi.
First of all, I have to admit that I was unable to find the copies of Young Jump at my local Japanese store. For some reason, they seem to be much more scarce than almost any other Japanese weekly publication. As such, I also have missed the chapters 321 & 322 which heralded the beginning of the current 'African' flashback.

Accordingly, I never was sure who the character depicted there really was. Yes, he looks mostly like an identical twin to the current storylines 'Phantom Joe' - only that he seems to be older even in that flashback.

I also noticed the small print at the end of ep. 323, which quoted "Kusakabe Kakugo no Unmei wa...!?" However, since I wasn't able to actually read the two aforementioned chapters, I just chose to wait until either I get them or the storyline continues to tell us who we are dealing with.
I mean, Phantom Joe has already falsely referred to himself using his 'senseis' name "Kusakabe Jouichirou", so it's not completely implausible that he would stay with the "Kusakabe" family name, and re-invent his name to something more along his liking, and "Kakugo" (which means as much as: "resolution" or "resignation" would seem perfectly fine for his past self which we could behold recently).

Besides, the last person of the "Kusakabe" family line was that old Aikido-guy, with the ability to psy-extend his limbs.
And Phantom Joe himself was already identified by Son'O as "Kaneshiro Kenshi", meaning that he doesn't have any family ties to the "Kusakabe" line, which also makes the "Kusakabe Kakugo" thing look more meek.

I know of course that I could be well and completely wrong.
As I said, I haven't been able to read the two chapters that lead to the current 'African' flashback, but the smallprint on the last page of the latest episode tells that the flashback is now over and things will return to the present. Mayhaps we will know more in a few days!

Oh and besides: is it just me, or has the series been 'meandering' just too much recently? I mean - the small stories still are great, but ever since Kiryuu lost his son, the Manga also seems to have lost its direction somewhat....(?)

I have to say thanks to the folks at "Ritual" for providing me (and everyone round here who might follow their discussions) with such a variety of comments and views! ^_^

Sadly, I have to admit that I am no longer able to write in French language (it's been ages since I last actively used French), but I'm still more or less capable of reading what is written there.

Best wishes & 'ki o tsukete' to everyone on the "ritual" message board!!!

If your looking for English Edited Mangas Mangafox has up to chapter 126, the group that is scanning it averages about 5-6 chapters a month, so it might be awhile till they catch up to the current storyline but hey its something

For chapter 321 and 322, you'll have to wait for the release of Volume 30 which was to be published in October or November 2010.This volume should include the chapters 316 to 326.

Link for chapter 326 : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0JLV3HRK

Thanx for the Link!

Once again a chapter which doesn't need translation.
The guy eliminates the soldiers, on the street he collapses, wakes up on a stretcher with a doctor in front of him, who has been ordered to kill him for good, otherwise he and his family would suffer. The guy urges the doctor to go ahead, because what the hellish country needs most is a doctor.
Scene switches to Prague, and we see Kie (Kiichis mother and Seikos wife) walking through the city and upon meeting the some trench-coat-dressed person, asks: "Kiryuu, is that you?" upon which the person turns his face and we see that he is... well, the guy, the one who we really don't know who he really is, since nobody round here (me included) got hold of the two missing chapters.

Hi,
I am looking for French RAWs for Vols 23-35 of the first series. I tried the links I could find on this thread, but could not find a complete list.
Does anyone have any links they know are working recently?
Thanks,
Jack

Not that much happening in this chapter 327, mainly dialogue:

Kie says that she has mistaken Kusakabe for Kiryuu and Kusakabe mentions he has heard of Kiryuu (after all, he comes from another famous lineage of martial arts and Kiryuu's considered to be the most dangerous of Nadashinkageryuu). Kie asks what Kusakabe is doing in Praha, and Kusakabe ponders that he came here because he has seen too many violent things and likes to be in a quiet and 'beautiful' location, healing his psychic wounds. Kie requests if she may draw a picture of Kusakabe, he agrees, and while drawing she mentions that he seems different than Kiryuu, much more (or even too) serious.
Kusakabe seems to kinda enjoy Kies presence and he tells her that he came to Praha to escape from violence and be at ease, upon which Kie asks whether this is the right thing to do for a martial artist like him, but Kusakabe stands to his decision. Both say goodbye, and after Kie entered a streetcar, Kusakabe notices a guy in a car he obviously knows. Scene switches to Kie arriving at her place, where she is kidnapped and drugged by the same guy, who is pleased that he managed to capture the "Asian beauty". The final page shows a luxury mansion, where it is announced that the "female slave auction" is about to begin.
