Can we see who voted for the characters in this tournament? at least make it clickable when the poll close. I'd like to check who voted cuz there is a slight chance of unfair play.

Many people would like it keep their identity secret so that no one can question their decision of voting a person.

Whats the point? Its not like anyone can do anything about any "unfair play". All it would do is let people start whining at other people for voting for a character that they think shouldnt be voted for.

You don't need to worry We will be keeping our eyes on the voters, or rather, not 'we', because I don't have the rights, but it should be the higher staffs. They will be

Well as far as i know there is a system to check servers.So 1 vote per Server.So no fear of dupe votes.

Hey everyone, back again for some time(paid a visit to Barcelona, really cool city indeed!)

Why does jellal get such a bad early matchup. He did come out first of his group. Someone a tad easier to handle would´ve been all he needed to get to quarters(erza for example).

Matches I hope to see:

August vs Zeref(semi-finals or finals)- You know what? Give Zeref FH for this, he clealy needs it after requiring it(an infinite source of magic) plus "all" his darkness to take out Natsu(who outright stated to have burned Makarov´s soul as fuel for his new flames, oh dear).

Natsu vs Irene(semi-finals or finals)

Invel vs Gildarts- could he crash/ crush an insta-freeze/ true-ice kamui or resist ice slave?(best 16 or quarters)

Dimaria vs Laxus(Quarters)

Erza vs Irene- I need to rehabilitate myseld from that awful match(unfortunately canon to boot). Time to annihilate her, Erza, in this tournament)

g.Serena vs Gray or Sting(Quarters)

Garjeel vs Jellal(best 16, although Jellal already got his matchup)

Dimaria vs Brandish(quarters or Finals, hahaha )

Let's get him what he deserves (after never getting the adoration he deserved from his parents). August for FT tournament 2017 victor!

Logic gives that at this point, either August or Zeref should win. HOwever, this will probably turn into a popularity contest which will result in Natsu winning. YET, the manga isn't done yet, so maybe Natsu will get an asspull powerup that allows him to "legitimately" beat Zeref and possibly August.

Well, in this regard, @Debonair Raven's suspicion is not entirely pointless.

It is very possible to bypass the system (which isn't bulletproof) and vote on a dupe account, but of course, that doesn't happen frequently.

And likely, the benefit of protecting other members' privacy pretty much outweighs the risk of a dupe account vote, which probably won't change the polls by a large margin.

I asked the same question during last year's tournament, and the answer I got seemed fairly reasonable. Pretty much, the organizers don't want any members to feel uncomfortable voting or having fear of being exposed.

And with that in mind, I can understand and agree.



On a whole different topic:

I'm certain August is the sure winner of this tournament.

Natsu has a very slim shot (with the recent knowledge of events), but I do see August winning simply because he can end up canceling Natsu's magic.
