Of course he would. This arc was designed around Rei. Levi being the main focus here makes sense

Holy shit excuse, we're talking about Baam's powers, not leviathan lore here.

Character progression shouldn't depend on the moment.

It's tiring for Baam to obtain countless powers throughout the damn saga and not progress properly with any of them.

I still don't know how he's been using orbs all this time.

I'll admit, the form looks goofy as fuck. Levi helping here is intriguing since he said he'll only help if it's against traum. So maybe Bam just took his power? Also can this technically be a beast transformation?

The only way Baam is able to externalize the power of the creatures within him is through mimesis.

So yes.

It's not "help". Baam is using his powers. Before he could only use it via Water Dragon, now he can use it via Mimesis. It was clearly the next step for his evolution. He can already use Mimesis with the two Thryssas.

Now that Baam has the rational power source strong enough to cut Dumas, why didn't used his bow to attack the heart? Still a mystery to me.

- Baam summons a bow and starts attacking Dumas, he wounds him.

- The chapter ends with Dumas trying to approach from behind and one of the fangs wounding him (?).

Forms a bow and used many arrows (probly 5-6)
Dumas wounded bit (hands or side part of his body got bleeding)shirtless
Dumas gone behind bam and trying to attack him but got wounded by another bam's form
Chap ends with bam's new form breaking that bow form and we see covering bam's hand with levi's power

True, but from anything we have seen in the manhwa, this is how SIU uses it. If it's a power introduced and has some relevance in the current arc then it'll be used before it's put on the shelf.

Two positive points of this fight:
Baam turned Levi's fangs into a bow
he didn't go into Berserker.

It looks like his weapon as a spear wielder will be a bow, thank goodness we already have a lot of spear users.

It ain't even his full form. Leviathan transformation theme lies on the principle that each features of the transformation can be utilized as weapons. It looks ugly aesthetically, but the mechanism is great.
