Man that is funny, Italy losing like that.. but I have to be honest, I bet they choke now and don't advance.. It's not the group of death for nothing.

Think about it, say they beat Romania, but tie/lose to France, things get very difficult if not impossible for them to advance if they don't win both games.
So all in all, I say congrats Holland, your team kicked ass.

Today... I will be very stressed until the match is over, I'm basically predicting 2 ties, but for hopes sake I want a victory today in order to play it safe with another tie from Spain.

I am very confused with the fact that all German members here are pro-holland But also happy. There could be no better final than Holland - Germany (and of course, a whopping victory for Holland )

heheh it's true, but just like I said, you shouldn't underestimate Romania. They have two fantastic forwards (Mutu and Chivu) and an experienced keeper (Lobont). It was fantastic how romania defended against France. France just didn't know what to do anymore, and that is the effect Romania has on the "big" countries.

about the match, if we were a bit more aggressive, we could`ve kicked their asses...

That's some bull, the ref is calling the game for Spain. He called an incorrect offside in the start, and now he didn't call a penalty.

Well w/e, Villa was great today, now start my damn game already.

Spain ripped apart russia beautifully. And fabregas was on for only 30 minutes. He created a goal and scored one so why he was not started is beyond me. But that doesnt bother me, it means he will be fresher for next season.

Anyway, good match, russia did well but spain was technically too good. Tiki taka at its best As for russia they seriously need arshavin back, they need some creativity in midfield. A lot of their play was predictable.
