Discussion UEFA Euro 2008

[Riku]

Yeh, Spain pretty much controlled the game. Russians were really stiff, they should take a lesson about moving without the ball from Spain. At times it looked like Russia had already given up.

Great play by Spain, and Villa. Seems like they can score even without Raul with ease ^^

Portugal vs Czech tomorrow, so excited!!!!!

[KnuckleheadedNinja]

what a game by villa.

[crazy_horse1989]

what was the score for Greece vs. Sweden? i had to go somewhere and i missed it...

[mathi36]

still ongoing!
Right now it's 0-0

[Starzen]

man this match is dreadful I can barely keep my eyes open.

[mathi36]

same here!

[KnuckleheadedNinja]

sweden just score 2 goals. 2-0

[mathi36]

lol, just when I gave up on on watching it^^

[ShgnLW]

Ibrahimovic!! Wonderful goal!! Best I've seen so far (in this EC)

[ibra87]

Second goal has to be the funniest goal in Euro Cup yet...

[◆ T.D.A ◆]

Ibra is like that, lazy and useless for most of the match but out of nowhere produces a moment of magic.

[Lohnt]

I am embarrassed... not so much for the first goal, but for the second and the damn changes Oto made. I was so happy when the first half ended, but our team is just so damn OLD they got tired after 50 minutes, too tired to play, too tired to freaking give a damn.

[Riku]

Note, by statistics Sweden has the oldest team! ^^

That was certainly entertaining match. Such silly mistakes from both teams. The finnish commentators saved the first half and beginning of second, so funny shit and half of it even was'nt supposed to be funny

Ibrahimovic's goal is thus far the coolest in the tournament, and as said, Hansson's is the funniest ^^

Other point for the commentators for how they reacted to the second goal; Since the beginning they critizised Hansson, how he is unstable and not too dependable, but plays with a big heart. Then the goal comes and commentators go like "WTF?!!? I'll take every word back, Hansson is amazing player, such a powerfull wonderfull left foot cannon *laughter*"

Really looking towards Czech-Portugal ^^

[walkie]

for greece: i dont give a chance to greece from the very begginng and it will be a great suprise if they stand longer then quarter final, even qf is good for them i believe, i know they r the last champions but i think they done for now

for sweden: can ibrahimovic score for sweden???what a suprise

for check&portugal: dont expect a fast game, two of them won first matches and i am sure they do not want to loose this one otherwise they will definetly loose the chance of becoming 1. in group so draw is more acceptable than playing offensively and risking game, probably this game will be a slow game until someone scores a goal...but still waiting for it

[Starzen]

portugal is gonna go and attack from the start so that they can rest players in the final group match. greece needs to change they formation and mentality.

[natli]

I don't see Portugal playing defensively, their fans would eat them.

[ZeroChrome]

woah, quite a number supporting Portugal eh? I'm actually rooting for Holland, but as for today's game, I'll go for Czech because I have Cech as gk for my fantasy football
anyone here play fantasy football?

[Riku]

I registered this morning, I have Cech as a gk too

[ZeroChrome]

really? man, I wish I realized about this thread sooner. I wanted to suggest that we have a league of our own. that would be fun. damn, too late

edit: I just tried to create a league and it seems that we can set the scoring to start at this matchday. so, just a suggestion. anyone interested if we create a league for mangahelpers?
