Yeah, France was just too lax too often. They had great moments too, but overall Switzerland played better. Better team won and Seferovic man of the match.

I only really feel bad for Kante, because he is Kante and Pogba who really led them. What a shit show by france. If I was Laporte I would be rubbing this in. They probably would have won the game with him. Hahaha.

With France out of the draw, Belgium will really fancy themselves here.

Those and then Griezmann and Benzema because of the goals and Griezmann's general play. Everyone else can do one. They didn't play well at all to get out of the group and I was thinking they were just trying to save their engery for the knockouts but you're right, Mbappe spent most of the matches running around, wasting opportunities and being on the ground.

It's such a massive disappointment for a team such as this. So gutted for the guys we mentioned.

Unfortunately that is the nature of tournament football. Cards get wiped before semis though, I think. Neither team is getting a lot of time to rest either; they're playing this Friday if I remember right.

It's a bit of a shame though. He probably could have added a bit more to his value. Still happy though. Finally time for Arsenal to get some decent money now. We never sell well.

I’d say it’d be quite a bit emotional for England too. Long considered under-performing, they have the “underdog” label in this tournament imo. Often promising, and yet always falling just short. If they win it all, that’s a nice little emotional payoff there. Of course, not to Denmark’s extent.

This might go against better judgement, but if I were the Danes’ coach, I wouldn’t cross off Eriksen’s name from the roster just yet. And, if he’s willing, I’d offer him to sit on the bench to root for the team if we make it to the finals. And if we go all the way to shootout.... I might just put him in.
