Cheating? She is not his girlfriend. Even if she was, kissing for a Pactio wouldn't really count as cheating. We'll see what happens in the chapter but last time the real issue was because he wasn't use to a female body. If he gets used to it I don't think he would care about a boost in physical strength, it's not that important anyway in this series.

Pacto Cards are back. I predicted it and I love it! Those were one of my favorite ideas from Negima so I'm pretty hyped they got carried over. Now the question is how and when is Karin going to get her card? Because that's happening.

Crunchyroll is where I read it. They don't have much on their manga app but they've got UQ Holder and Eden Zero.

The time travel ability of her's activates and screws up the magic supposedly. Next in line Karin but she was said she would "rather die."

So Kuroumaru is still genderless. But at least Touta knows his secret now It didn't work with Kirie because the kiss triggers the time stop ability.

Not a bad chapter, but I am a bit annoyed that it took a whole chapter.

Also, we really need Ermine as permanent cast member. I love having him around especially with his new mustache.

They wanted to empower Touta IIRC and Kuroumaru is the one who can use Magic, so they wanted Kuroumaru to become the master.

I think it's supposed to be a cliffhanger.

I don't specifically mind pactios but to me it is still weird that the author really wants to go this way. its such a hassle storywise to get every girl a pactio once again. It does seem like karin is a rather lackluster immortal at this point though. She needs training more than she needs a pactio. Assuming her immortality does not prevent her from growing stronger or something.

I am not too fond of this either, especially because of the pacing and the fact that Touta didn't even get a true fight to show his abilities. But at least it comes with her backstory.

Karin being Judas was hinted already, but according to what she said in this chapter, Jesus's identity is not really confirmed.

The implication is more or less that karin and her master were the ones upon whom the bible stuff was based on. not really a clear cut karin is judas and her master is jesus. because the bible and what actually happened in this world are different to some extent.

I love the Pacto stuff personally. Mainly because we're getting harem type elements anyway. Giving that a function allows the ecchi and love dovey comedy to serve a purpose other than just being pure fluff. It's something I honestly missed from Negima up until this point with UQ Holder.

That's how I took it too. They are basically using the Judas story but on the side saying "Hey, for anyone who might be offended or feel it's to weird to have a Judas waifu...maybe it's not". Which I appreciated, honestly.
