This arc is confirmed to be written by Akira Toriyama.
This makes me think the reason why the anime hasn't come back is cause toriyama is only working with toyotaro atm and wants the anime to follow the manga so they are letting him get a couple arcs ahead

That’s my opinion as well. They’re letting the manga do a couple arcs before bringing the anime back.

We are following now the TV Asahi top-100 manga special. 150,000 votes in total.

They started by revealing the winner which surprisinly hasn't been Kimetsu no Yaiba. One Piece gets the 1st place with 33600 votes.

The voting poll ended in October, before Jujutsu Kaisen anime starting, so don't expect Jujutsu in a high rank here. If it appears, it will be probably over ranks 81-100 (it is a pity though. I can see JJK ending in top-30 if the poll would have been with JJK anime airing).

I'll be updating the post with more Shonen Jump manga appearing in that rank. I'm posting the entire top-10. In Black Jump titles. In Italic no Jump titles. From 11 to 100 I'll only post the Jump titles in normal.

1. One Piece - 33600 votes
2. Kimetsu no Yaiba - 29100 votes
3. SLAM DUNK - 26700 votes

A supervisor doesn't nesasarily write. He supervises, suggests guidance, may approve or deny certain ideas but is not in complete control. Judging from the interviews Kishimoto almost seemed to be akin to a glorified editor and openly talked about the freedom Kodachi had with writing the series in the way he wanted it to go. It's clear too given how different of a writer Kodachi feels than Kishimoto.

To your second point; Lol.
Just because it's a continuation of something Kishimoto wrote doesn't mean he was involved as heavily with said continuation (up until this point). There have been plenty of spin-off or even sequel manga not written by the original mangaka even if they still may oversee certain things, or contribute little things here and there like character designs, or some story ideas.

Anyways,Boruto doesn't run in Jump anymore so this conversation is off topic . I just included it on my rankings because I read it along with the rest of the Jump series on manga+.
You really need to stop trying to pick at everything people say, because it always seems to backfire on you.

Whatever Kodachi wrote will surely come under Kishimoto who either approved it or made suggestions.

For the second, it does not take a genius eh, the first 12 chapters of Boruto are the manga transposition of a film written by Kishimoto. So it's like he made them

Honestly, this narrative aimed at making Kodachi pass for a poor victim and Kishimoto as a talentless dog who stole his glory I find it quite ridiculous and pretext.

It's called discussion.

On a forum it should be the norm.

Sure, Kishimoto is a talentless dog.

Tell me how many other untalented dogs are able to write one of the best selling manga of all time ....

Lots of successful "artists" are untalented grifting hacks. Think Stephanie Meyer, Alejandro Inarritu, Miley Cyrus.
People who got famous due to riding pop culture waves or having great marketing campaigns.
Not everything that makes money is nesasarily a high quality product or made with genuine passionate intentions.

The fact that Kodachi was far superior at writing in Kishimoto's world and with his characters says a lot.
I mean, Samurai 8 should say a lot too to those who can't view Naruto without nostalgia glasses.

It's super ironic too given Boruto was just an editorial reaction to Naruto ending so didn't nesasarily have the most genuine origins, yet still feels like something with way more care, thought, and effort into it than anything Kishimoto has ever written.
Plus, unlike Kishimoto, Kodachi knows how to write living breathing people.

Opinions. Questionable, but opinions.

LOL

But.....

What kind of comparison would that be?

Looks like both DBS and Boruto are tracking a bit better than on their previous volume
