We have a thread for Aogiri Tree and Pierrot, but what about the organization with the least panel time? What about the organization whose members - unlike Aogiri Tree and Pierrot - are all unknown except for an ex-member who left the organization decades ago and a mere name of one current memer?
The hierarchy of V:
Practically nothing was revealed about their hierarchy aside from the fact that there are members working as "Cleaners". Judging from Yoshimura’s flashback, powerful ghouls who made a name for themselves are recruited for this task.
The job of the Cleaners:
According to Yoshimura, Cleaners kill humans, rival organizations and even other ghouls. As the name itself suggests, they don’t just kill, but eat their targets, thus clean.
V’s manpower:
The power of V is uncertain for various reasons. They rarely appeared and when they did, it was a group of around five people at a max. Unlike Aogiri Tree, the author never made any indications about the sheer number of members. Yoshimura stated the organization was too strong for him alone, which actually doesn’t say a lot. Considering they kill/destroy other ghouls and organizations, they either have the quantity or individual quality to get their job done… or both. But we can be sure a SSS-Rank Ghoul isn’t something they take lightly, as Kaiko admitted inferiority even with two other V-members accompanying him.
V’s Goal:
"The equilibrium we’ve mantained over these years is collapsing because of that Aogiri Tree."
This statement is very interesting. Just what kind of equilibrium they aim for? Why is Aogiri Tree or Eto such a threat for them? How do they affect the equilibirum the V organization tries to protect? It seems they have a clear objective in mind, which makes kiling humans and even ghouls justifiable in their eyes. Secrecy has top priority for them, seeing how they operate and their organization has never been mentioned by anyone else bar Yoshimura as far as I recall.
