In my opinion, V was the initial "Chosen One" among the Great Warriors destined to become an Axis. He was the only one who opened the door to the Tower alone; the other Great Warriors merely followed him because their outside world was far too harsh.

Consequently, the Guardian of the Workshop bestowed the powers of Revolution upon V. It was then up to him whether or not to share this power with the other Great Warriors. His decision to share it not only made his companions significantly stronger, but it also empowered the Tower as a whole.

However, once they reached the 134th Floor, Jahad discovered that only V would ultimately transcend to become an Axis. Blinded by this revelation—and furious that Arlen Grace, the woman he loved, chose V over him—Jahad chose to halt the climb. He sealed the path beyond the 134th Floor and forged a contract with the Administrators to crown himself King.

This explains why the Outside God stepped in to help Arlen revive Bam. Because V was the truly destined one, the Outside God placed V's soul inside Bam's body to grant him a second chance. This perfectly aligns with V's declaration that he was destined to re-enter the Tower and climb it once more. Furthermore, it explains why V emerged from the exact boundary line Bam drew to define himself: it signifies that V is the sealed, true essence of Bam.

I do think that V guessed just as Obrion did. He just didn't know about Axis. That's why he didn't want to be bounded by the tower and didn't take the Immortality Contract

Within the hidden data level of hell train, Aguero Agnis remarks upon his father Eduan being completely and totally different from the Eduan he grew up knowing. Other portions of ToG hint upon Jahad merging with a thryssa. With Eduan possibly doing the same at some point. After merging with thryssa apparently both Jahad and Eduan's personalities become completely different as they are taken over by foreign entities, becoming perhaps nothing more than puppets for administrators to control.

This sets the stage for civil war between V and the rest. Administrators recognize V as a threat and take steps to have him eliminated.

Administrators then arrange for the 134th floor to become a barrier to growth. To reduce threat to their power over the lower 133 floors. But they are not allowed to completely cut off floors above 134 and so part of the key becomes the 12 month series of weapons. And the other part of the key, I don't remember.

There was no chosen, it's You. you may achive everything that's why hedon says the same thing to everyone, if you climb the tower you have right demand power and all that and if guardians like that then you are there .

No one was chosen, if guardians wanted they could trash and kill every GW easily but they never did , cuz there is no one who controls tower but Guardians and Tower itself .

And no gw knew about anything about the tower, they didn't even knew what shinsoo was, if you knew that a building will give you power certainly they'd knew it beforehand but neither of the did, cuz they weren't prepared for that .

Tower existed prior to fodder human GWs, And if anyone created the tower that'd be light user and that's surely, cuz i n the anime we see The sun like figure at the top of the tower not even to the top but outside of the view when there is someone and who's on the building at the highest point and we see sun-like object that could be creator of this tower .

And before anyone tell me what urek said about Tower being dark place idk , it makes less sense to even say such word especially if baam has outside gods power yet the guy has in him SUN-like thing and that is the thing what urek displays time to time he has sun-like power (Light) . darkness cannot have anything like The sun, cuz darkness is darkness nothing else and it cannot produce anything light-ish .


All-consuming flame that can devour anything that is sun . and certainly darkness cannot make anything that can devour everything if it could he'd make pentaminum like figure but more powerful but he cannot, he made pentaminum strong and not even he can control him right now LOL .

Jahad merging with a thryssa

That's true cuz thryssa can twist a person especially we know that zahard threw himself into garbage dump which means this zahard is fake, combination of thryssa and zahards body and real zahard we may see in future . and could be the case why guardians let to this one to be so called king cuz that being is their own fellow Towerborn thryssa .



I remember how twisted hell joe became after thryssa came out and zahard has the same being in him 100% (Not red thryssa but some other, and maybe that's red thryssa also because When enryu killed guardian zahard may have visited it and eat some flesh from the dead Guardian LOL ).

Tentacles also makes perfect sense when urek was fighting with the purple thryssa tentacles are the same what zahard had showed to baam , zahard has in him thryssa 100% but what kind of we dont know (maybe red one) , that's the demon that twisted him and then he knew he couldn't control his body he tossed himself into garbage dump, and could be the thing what Traumerei had said to Gustang that zahard isn't real zahard .

What I mean is that, if the Tower’s true purpose is simply to create an Axis, I don’t think V initially had a better chance than even Gustang or Shin for example. Like they all had a chance imo. However, as they climbed, V and Zahard separated themselves from the others. Why? Maybe they worked harder or were luckier and, as a result, obtained better powers and abilities. That’s how I see it.

Could V have gained the upper hand over Zahard toward the end of their climb? Possibly. However, I don’t think that was why Zahard disliked V; I think it was simply because Arlen liked him.

Yeah in terms of potential V or even zahard most likely aren't that much above FHs but V was chosen to be the user of revolution/evolution powers and it was completely up to him to share the power with others or not. His decision not only buffed great warriors but also made entire tower stronger. V also says he was destined to climb again and we now his second "reincarnation" is most likely baam now who most likely is going to become the axis created by the tower.

Once they reach the peak, the Axis will devour the Tower and everything inside it. Zahard, for all his wrongdoings, love the people of the Tower. He wanted everyone to be happy, he took the mantle of a king to rule them in a civilized world.

Wont be surprised if zahard was indeed a good guy, but this zahard isn't real zahard . zahard is a fake being and wont be surprised if some Thryssa had taken over him and this is just shell of real zahard, like red thryssa did to hell joe .

So guardians dont want to cease exist so they possessed someone and made themselves king and closed the door above, after all if someone reaches it they will just die so . that's whole idea .

Otherwise climbing the tower would be very easy after all FHs have every power in this world below the guardians (at that time), so they could rule over it . and only one can be an axis not 100 of them rest will just sihnsooless fodders so zahard did it for his friends .

This thought has occurred to me multiple times but the current zahard is clearly corrupted. The good part of zahard is sealed in red dump.

That explains the second floor admin being suspicious at times during the story.Like when he teleported Yu Han sung and Evankhell away, seemingly to help Baam.

There is a conflict among the administrators. Nothing shows this more than the Tower being sealed off/ ruptured at the 134th floor. The divide goes beyond FLs. Self preservation corrupted the admins. Wouldnt be surprised if Phanta had something to do with this. His goal after all is to avoid the Tower nurturing and bringing about a new Axis.

I meant to say that the second administrator is pro-new axis. Completely in contrast/opposition to what Zahard designed the second floor to become: a quarantine camp meant to exterminate any potential irregular.
Although I might be wrong here and others could also point out how the same admin told Baam that the contract he made was a shackle. I still firmly believe he did end liking Baam. Not in, as a snack, though

To me in general it seems unlikely that the great warriors understood in any amount of detail the purpose of the tower. So far the story seems to insinuate that V was set to become the king of the tower but zahard somehow got ahead of him and got the title instead. What followed was V apparently accepting this for a while until the door to the next floor was shut and the climb stopped.

Going by zahards words at the hidden floor, it sounds like zahard becoming king and halting the climb was meant to help him gain time to further improve his ability to manipulate fate. Which sounds pretty adjacent to what axis are supposed to be able to do. It also seems zahard has advanced in this goal. V having the specific goal to become an axis but then just going "eh, everything is fine" when zahard pulls the rug under him sounds extremely unlikely. This makes more sense if either V didn't fully understand the tower's purpose or had some understanding of it but was otherwise fine with anyone else winning over him. But latter scenario seems like an awkward fit with the plot in general.

It's also worth noting that the GoGs was created by the workshop, not the tower. It's not, in theory, some entity with vast metaphysical powers over reality. The power is granted V or the great warriors was something set up by the workshop which the tower ultimately allowed (to me at least that it how the pecking order works here, otherwise the tower/admins would have rejected the workshop's nonsense).

Now, V was supposed to become king of the tower but it's clearly not the case that becoming king makes you an axis or even that becoming the king in any ways advances this goal. Zahard apparently became king to stall the literal plot and gain more time to ascend. Though I suppose you could argue the family head and king contracts could have something to do with this as in some capacity it "elevates" those who possess them. We saw it's effect on traumerei so I can only imagine the king contract pushes people even further.

My guess would be that becoming king of the tower is simply one of the fates that is available to people who climb the tower. But becoming an axis is something inherently different. In writing this the idea came to me that becoming an axis requires being free of all fates or be outside of fate as a quantum observer of sorts. Which sort of fits bam given how he is able to chose his own path or is occasionally referred to at not having a fate (I think, I may be misremembering what was said).

Especially after the end of S3 and end of spinoff, I tend to give more weight to V being something beyond just a king of tower. From the beginning, he is far cry from being a king and rather a vanguard to discover, especially as a personality. I also need to think more on purple thryssa's words.
