Enryu ok but rewriting Phantas history is unironically more easier cause Phanta came in like a ghost leaving no permanent mark in the tower unlike Enryu.

Note, this is not a strength comparison I'm making here cause good lord Enryu is never scratching even a random low-tier Axis let alone a top 5 King like Phanta.

And Zahard doesn'tshy away from being a tyrant nor does he care to pretend he'sbenevolent so I see no reason why V being a beacon of hope shoulda bothered him.

In fact we have all the info and hints we need that Zahard and V's fallout fallout had much more to do with Arlene than with V being some promised one.
IIRC Enne thought Zahard may lock himself in the red dump. May it be possible that Phanta waltz in, killed many, and when could not find Zahard or heard the reason he locked himself, just disappeared (or maybe some elaborate things on red dump, but I can't take red dump or RLD more seriously than 10 FH still).

The fact that Zahard didn't erase the incident about Enryu and Phanta proves that he doesn't care about history, and also doesn't care about what others think of him.
Even the story about V is the same, in reality there are still people who know about his existence (Luslec, Hansung,...).
Shouldn't people wonder why Luslec doesn't spread the story about V to others?

Excluding Emily in limited context, I actually don't know any news-spreading or whistle-blowing mechanisms in ToG.
Hansung may conceal this to prevent the emergence of his F.U.G. association, but if Luslec is hiding this info (maybe he does spread at some scales/cases) he should have another reason of course. Maybe, he aims for an ambush, surprise attack, so V might even be portrayed as "someone else came to tower from outside and punished Zahard", similar to Enryu.

Of course they must have some way to look up information before Emily existed.

Somehow Zahard was able to erase V's existence from history (of course Zahard also killed a lot of people) while there are many people who lived from V's time still exist (like the cursed people).
Gustang also knows how to erase other people's memories (like FoD).

But the problem here is that people who know V is alive still remember him, but they don't tell others about him. They don't mention him, let alone refer to him as some unknown person. We (readers) have never even heard "someone else came to tower from outside and punished Zahard" mentioned in the story, let alone the toweborns. The only two people who claim to do so are tied for 1st and 2nd in the rankings.
If V's story is "good", they will preach it as "bible" to their disciples, instead of keeping it as a secret.

You misunderstood, "someone else came from outside" is for a potential future plan for F.U.G., not what happened before. If the past was so well for V, he would not really be up for revenge anyway :) I believe if F.U.G. keep quiet about V's return, it may be for an ambush plan, but even so, that would have failed as Gustang and Urek (FHs and Wing-tree) now know it. Now, they should try to keep it quiet or hidden for security reasons.
As said, I can guess why Hansung and Luslec does not really tell others, and FH may just decide to keep it secret. For the rest, I don't know. And still no definite info for either information lookup or whistleblowing methods in the tower. The tower is vast, many of inhabitants are just existing somewhere without much care. There may be bottlenecks to hold or release information easily.
Yet, I am losing hope for them to be clarified in the future chapters considering how far we came and how much we know. Moreover, historical cleansing of V might not be the actual deal itself, if not be mentioned in the spinoff it will probably be 100 chapters earlier to know it. We'll wait and see. V is an interesting fellow, there will be several cool arcs regarding him and some more flashbacks. Simultaneously those will probably reveal much more about Zahard, too.

The plan "someone else came from outside" you're talking about will apply to all irregulars, but it can't possibly be FUG's future plan. Phata, Enryu, Urek have never been people they can rely on, are you planning to beg them to join FUG?

FUG's plan should basically be Baam. In fact, before Garam story, Baam was only considered irregular, someone who could be unbound by Zahard's immortal contract. I don't believe that all FUG members (including the slayer) knew Baam's true identity.
I said, the story of V was not mentioned or not many people knew about it even though you were the slayer of FUG. Zahard's erasure of V's existence was only on paper, it wasn't a complete erasure. Those who didn't know still didn't know, and those who knew didn't speak up or were dead.

There is a reason why the FUG leaders (Luslec in particular) hide the truth. But that proves that they knew but they deliberately did not say.

So who is the liar here?

Then do you see the difference between erasing - not saying - lying?

History is a complicated matter. I always say that the normal people do not know much about history.
